My FSU thoughts on last night in Miami on @Cover3Podcast Bottom line: you played your A game, your rival played their C- game, and you lost because their C- is as good as your A because you suck at recruiting and developing players. Simple. Also hotseat thoughts.

Maybe put out a Noles centric podcast. It’s hard to take you seriously when you just bailed on the fans

Yeah, I don’t really think you wanna be in the FSU media business right now, bro if you have options. Like if I thought they actually cared about the fan base and about winning, I wouldn’t have sat the year out.

C- game lol….FSU defense was playing really solid until that second half. Run defense went to shit….but also, what’s that say about Miami’s D?? Even still, they should’ve been able to contain our average Offense. But they didn’t! Split the difference and say they both played B

No, they have bad players that’s the point they don’t recruit well and they don’t develop the guys they do get. I think they got an awesome effort level out of those guys last night, but I think that’s about the absolute best they can play against Miami

Our media can't help but shit on our team at every moment.

Played our A game? Fumble lost in critical time, 2 failed 4th down conversions in red zone. We played 2026 Noles football and should have won

Maybe lose the notion that it’s about recruiting. It’s about who BUYS the best team. Period. NCAA football is no longer equal chances at convincing kids to come to your school. It’s about paying them like pros and trying to keep them from getting a better offer the next year

Dumb logic when your “A game” is why they played their “C-game”. The two are contingent on one another lol.

Coaching lost the game, not the players. Bobby would have taken the points.

Or $20M difference in NIL budget? Kinda left that part out. 🤔

Your FSU bias and hope of what they should be made your analysis of the game totally useless. Everything you said about the talent disparity was true before the kick. You would NEVER cover another underdog this way. No insight. Just mad about the state of the program. Do better

It’s not about recruiting. The landscape has changed. It’s about who has the most money. Miami is spending $15-20M more on its roster than FSU. That’s why their C- game beat FSU’s A game. So please wake up and realize.

I'm a Canes fan and even I listen to Bud Elliott. Dude is generally spot on

As a Noles fan he’s speaking the truth. Yall just can’t stand it when someone is brutally honest with how trash the state of this program is currently. Only thing he said that’s even remotely questionable is A game and that’s purely semantics. I would’ve said A- 🤣. Point stands

Did Miami play a C- game? I think maybe their defense just isn’t great.

In fairness to Florida State, they have a consistency issue. If the FSU that played Miami and Alabama can win 6+ games and go to a bowl game. That would be momentum. They can't be the FSU that lost to SMU and Louisville.

The only people upset by are the ones that don't realize how right he is. This isn't the standard. It's time to rip the bandaid off.

An A game? We left 6 points on the board that could have easily won that game, your defense gave up 40 plus points for the third time this season, you lost your best player. What part of that is an A game?

We said the same thing after the 2023 game. Then Miami threw money at the problem and we threw money at Mike Norvell. The end.
3
4th and short, Mike Norvell proceeds to go for it (twice) instead of taking the points. #FireNorvell Now. #GoNoles

I understand this take in general but to have this take speaking on this particular game is insane. They played their hearts out and we got cheated. Everything else you said i generally agree with but they gave their all.

Bottom line: swing and miss for strike 3
25
Pathetic. Miami played their C game? WTF? Maybe they suck and we played a C game? You don’t know shit. I know this though. Miami is cursed. ACC just hit them with horrible karma. You don’t get that kind of charity without ball don’t lie hitting them back.

What stupidity.. FSU exposed Miami’s weakness as they play them every year and knows how to exploit the system.. Miami’s run game was good, Toney was Toney.. The problem with Miami is they run around blocks which leaves hole for trap plays.. FSU ran trapped plays..

Another loss... to Miami... #FireNorvell Now! | #GoNoles

I agree with you @BudElliott3 about not having the dudes but the question is why can’t they recruit? You have guys, past players, that have shown a lot of love to MN. Some that have not as well. Is it all money or is it he is too much of a Pom Pom waving coach?

They played great. I'm a Miami fan and not afraid to admit that.

If kromah doesn’t lose his leg, fsu wins.

Give Mike a break Hell give him a couple more years he'll have FSU going in the right direction.

If they could just please announce they are leaving the conference, I will be fine with whatever. I want him fired asap, but if you tell me we are for sure leaving, hopefully to the B1G, that’s good enough for me.
