Huh?
I’ve listened to this clip of a question that Jon Stettin from Past The Wire asked Everett Dobson how far is he as Chairman and the @jockeyclub are willing to go to be transparent, not only when things are good, but also when things are not good. I am really torn and unsure whether Everett is either lying or just full of shit. Please weigh in. What do you think??? Is he lying??? Is he being honest??? Is he full of shit???

VERY IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT. So there is ZERO confusion, let me make myself crystal clear. I believe the @jockeyclub, @hisa_us, @Keeneland and the @BreedersCup, along with @TOBAhorses , the @NTRA and members of the @TheNYRA board are all far more connected, coordinated and intertwined than they want anyone in this industry to believe. They all love to hide behind the same bullshit transparency. “We’re independent.” “Different leadership.” “Different boards.” “Different organizations.” Give me a f$&kin break. In my opinion, The Jockey Club stewards sit right in the middle of this entire ecosystem, with their fingerprints and influence reaching into almost every important part of Thoroughbred racing. And when the same people, relationships, interests and organizations keep showing up everywhere, I think the industry has every right to ask some very uncomfortable questions. Potential conflicts of interest. Potential self-dealing. Potential lying. Potential cheating. Potential corruption. Potential greed. Potential abuse of power. Potential manipulation. And potentially things being done behind closed doors that would look VERY different if the entire industry could actually see them. That’s why I’m saying it publicly. And if I’m completely wrong??? SUE ME!!!!! 😃 Seriously. I welcome it!!!!! Because then we get to my favorite word: DISCOVERY. Let’s see the emails. Let’s see the texts. Let’s see the board minutes. Let’s see the private conversations. Let’s see the financial relationships including loans and forgiven loans. Let’s see who is talking to who. Let’s see who is influencing who. Let’s see who benefits. Let’s see how many of these “independent” organizations are really independent when the doors are closed. Open the f$&king books. Let’s F$&kin Go!!!!! Because if I were sitting on one of these boards and somebody publicly accused my organization of operating like this and I knew it was completely false I would come after them immediately. So come after me!!!!! 😃 Because playing offense against me means opening themselves up too. And I know the LAST thing some of these people want is real discovery, real transparency and somebody who isn’t afraid of them digging through how this industry actually operates. And trust me, I have a hell of a lot more. A LOT f$&kin more!!!!! I hit the Jockey Club Stewards like Buster Douglas hit Mike Tyson. They were so full of themselves they never saw it coming from Mike from Queens. Tyson was never the same after that. Neither are the Stewards. I’m going to fight harder. It’s about the future of the entire sport and the people who love this sport and need this sport. So to all these organizations preaching transparency while hiding behind their “independent” leadership and “independent” boards: F$&kin sue me!!!!! 😃 Let discovery prove me wrong. GAME ON. ♥️💪 Feel free to retweet this so everyone sees this!!!!!

A passenger on the Dubai–Tel Aviv flight recounts: “We are currently in Saudi Arabia. One of the crew members attacked the pilot with a knife and disabled the aircraft’s systems. Yaniv (pictured?) and another passenger stormed the cockpit and subdued the attacker. Luckily, there were two more pilots on board. They were the ones who managed to land the plane.” Well, yes. Overall, the probability that a plane full of Israelis will contain a trained assault team, two additional pilots, and, statistically, at least one cardiac surgeon, psychologist, lawyer, and diamond dealer is substantially higher than 50%.

🚨‼🚨‼🚨‼🚨‼🚨‼🚨🆘🆘🆘🆘🆘👉 Poster 09-29-26. Several Thoroughbreds still needing help and we cannot help them as our moratorium is still in place. There is a new horse on this poster that was born in Great Britain. No horses are safe no matter where they were born. These horses would not be ending up at these lots if the industry would put forth the proper funding and infrastructure to protect them better and circumvent lower level auctions. Until that is put in place and the industry puts the horses first, they cannot claim how much they love the horses and how much they have done for them. There are no more excuses. Action is needed now. 👉Note: These are only the Thoroughbreds we are currently aware of. Furthermore, we have no affiliation with the lots. @jockeyclub @BreedersCup @keenelandracing @theTDN @PastTheWire @KYTbred @RepoleStable @PatCummingsNTA @westlakeracing @ThoroughbredRA @EponaInitiative @KateMaddenSC @UKRacingInfo

🇫🇷 FRENCH LESSONS FOR THE 1%…JUST IN TIME FOR PARIS🇫🇷 With Jim “MIA” Gagliano and Everett Dobson apparently heading to Paris for another industry “business meeting,” Dianne and I thought we’d help them prepare. After all, coming from the United States, they might encounter a member of the French press with a few questions. So today’s vocabulary lesson: 🇫🇷 Incompétence-Incompetence 🇫🇷 Conflit d’intérêts- Conflict of interest 🇫🇷 Transparence- Transparency 🇫🇷 Responsabilité- Accountability 🇫🇷 Où est le leadership ?- Where’s the leadership? 🇫🇷 Violation de données personnelles- Personal data breach 🇫🇷 Aftercare entièrement financé- Fully funded aftercare 🇫🇷 Gaspillage- Waste 🇫🇷 Pourquoi Paris ?- Why Paris? 🇫🇷 Qui est responsable ?- Who is responsible? 🇫🇷 Pourquoi personne ne répond ?- Why is nobody answering? And one we’ve been asking for quite a while: 🇫🇷 Où est passé Jim Gagliano ? 🇺🇸 Where has Jim Gagliano been? And perhaps the most useful phrase of all: 🇫🇷 “Nous enquêtons sur nous-mêmes.” 🇺🇸 “We are investigating ourselves.” That one shouldn’t require much practice. While American racing is dealing with serious problems here at home, the 99% is demanding answers. The 1% is heading to Paris. Bon voyage. 🇫🇷 We love our sport. That’s exactly why we’re asking the questions. @jockeyclub

🚨SILENCE IS NOT LEADERSHIP. STEP UP OR STEP ASIDE.🚨 Mike Repole @RepoleStable has been demanding change in this industry for years. Then the 99% found its voice. And now that voice is getting louder. Permanent, meaningful funding for AFTERCARE. A real plan to HELP SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA RACING. Fairness and transparency at SALES. Accountability. Lower costs. A stronger voice for OWNERS, HORSEMEN, AFTERCARE ORGANIZATIONS and the people who actually fund this sport. And what do we hear from the people running our industry? SILENCE. Meanwhile, HISA, The Jockey Club and now Keeneland seem to spend more time dealing with self-caused controversies and investigating problems within their own walls while confidence in our institutions continues to erode. You cannot investigate your way out of a leadership crisis. Thousands of young horses just moved through the Keeneland September Sale and into the next chapter of this industry. Yet we STILL do not have the permanent, industry-wide aftercare funding system our horses deserve. Think about that. We can generate hundreds of millions of dollars in sales. We can celebrate record prices. We can find millions for executives, consultants, lawyers and bureaucracy. But when it comes to permanently funding the future of the horses that MAKE THIS ENTIRE INDUSTRY POSSIBLE, we’re still waiting. ENOUGH. For years, Mike Repole stood up, asked the uncomfortable questions and challenged an establishment that didn’t want to hear them. Now the 99% is standing with him. The questions aren’t going away. The pressure isn’t going away. And the demand for change isn’t going away. So to the people occupying the leadership chairs at HISA, The Jockey Club, Keeneland, Breeders’ Cup, NTRA and every other major institution: LEAD. Bring people together. Fund permanent aftercare. Help save Southern California racing. Fix the sales system. Restore transparency. Listen to the people paying the bills. And start making decisions for the future of the SPORT instead of protecting the institutions of the past. If you aren’t willing to lead the change this industry desperately needs… STEP ASIDE AND LET SOMEONE ELSE DO IT. Mike Repole started asking the questions long before the 99% became a force. Now there are a hell of a lot more of us asking them. We love our sport. We love our horses. And silence is no longer an acceptable answer. @jockeyclub @BreedersCup @hisa_us @NTRA @keenelandsales @keeneland

📣🚨🆘🚨🆘🚨🆘👉 Sadly more thoroughbreds have come in to the lots. We have updated the identity on a few more of them. 🛑✋ 👉We have no choice but to put a moratorium in place as we just cannot keep absorbing costs that we cannot raise for expenses and the extra unforeseen costs. Transportation is at an all time high with the costs of diesel and gasoline. Donations are drastically down with the economy and there is no substantial help from the industry to help save these horses lives. Where does that leave the horses? Not in a good place. 💔 The funds are within the industry so the industry has no excuse and these horses deserve help. These horses do not have time on their side. Who will step up for them? The horses are starting to feel the weather changes, which you’d think is a good thing. Our biggest concern this time of year are barometric pressure changes and significant fluctuations in the humidity. Here in southern Louisiana, we are smack dab in the middle of hurricane season so it’s a very real thing. We’re extra vigilant to watch for behavioral changes and indications of colic. We’re still on overnight turnout because the temps are still getting very high. Thank you Kate for your donation! We are grateful for your ongoing support and cheerleading! We are limping into the last week of September and are pulling out all the stops to make it through the month. We are out of everything - again. Donations are so greatly appreciated right now. There is no industry funding coming to @RACEFund. I feared this update would come: “We are putting a moratorium in place as we just cannot keep absorbing costs that we cannot raise to cover expenses and the extra unforeseen costs. Transportation is at an all time high with the costs of diesel and gasoline. Donations are drastically down with the economy and there is no substantial help from the industry to help save these horses lives.” Shameful. The party never ends at @keenelandsales but it’s definitely over for these Thoroughbreds.💔

So sorry to hear of the passing of Arthur Hancock. Mr. Hancock said it all in this video about the horses and taking care of them. Unfortunately, the industry has failed miserably regarding Thoroughbred retirement, rescue and welfare. Until the proper funds, protocols and programs are put in place to really protect the horses , then the industry has still not put them first or their welfare.
The Thoroughbred racing industry lost a titan today. RIP Mr Hancock. A fierce and unwavering advocate for the horse, whose contribution to racing will be felt for generations. An unmatched legacy 💔🕊️
