Big time nostalgia is setting in for me right now. Win or lose, I can't believe I've been living through this incredible saga that will go down in the history books forever.
When Donald J. Trump came down that escalator at Trump Tower in 2015, I had no idea how my life would change forever.
When he announced his candidacy on June 16th, 2015, I immediately sat down and created a Facebook page called "Donald Trump For President". I had no idea what to expect. Maybe I'd get a few thousand likes, maybe I'd give up on it after a few weeks.
All I was trying to do was to fight back against what I saw as blatant misinformation by the liberal media.
But then, something magic happened. One post after another caught fire and I ended up going all in and jumping on the train and holding on for dear life as one of the greatest stories ever told began to unfold.
Not only did my entrepreneurial career change forever, leading me to be a co-owner in the business I'm in right now, but this journey has also helped me meet some of the best friends that I will ever have in my life. As I sit here and type this out, I'm sitting here in a big house in La Jolla that 12 of us rented out as we all prepare to cover and witness this historic 2024 election. And win or lose, there's no place I'd rather be. I truly can't believe that this is the life I'm living.
This great American story has had it all.
High highs and LOW lows. A lot of laughter and a LOT of anxiety 😂.
The sheer adventure of that 2016 campaign was unmatched.
The businessman vs the establishment. The prime "Trump Tweets"...where you didn't know what was going to come next.
The twists, the turns...the "no-teleprompter" rallies. (OH, the no-teleprompter rallies, how I miss thee. If you thought Trump goes off the rails NOW, you have no idea...)
The debates. "Only Rosie O'Donnell". The crushing primaries.
The shocking election night victory and the aftermath of it all. The inauguration. Those were some memories that are quite literally seared into my brain forever.
Then, his administration. He went in and actually did what he said he was going to do despite the obstruction by EVERYONE from the FBI to the CIA to the Democrats to big tech to the liberal media.
The Kavanaugh saga. The impeachment sagas.
Somehow this man was resilient through it all.
Then the pandemic. The 2020 election. The dark times.
However, now we're living through the comeback. And what more could we possibly say?
The indictments. The mugshot. The unbelievable Trump/Biden debate. The July 13th shooting and his iconic "FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT" moment.
Then his return to Butler, which I was so privileged to attend. It was the first time I'd ever heard Lee Greenwood sing "God Bless The USA" in person. I'll never forget that moment. Nor will I forget Elon Musk leaping like a kangaroo on stage next to Trump😂.
But the campaign didn't end there. We also got some of the most iconic political imagery in history with Trump's McDonalds visit. I mean, what a day that was.
AND NOW, EVERYTHING HAS ALL CULMINATED TO THIS VERY MOMENT.
It's impossible to summarize everything that has happened during these past 9 years, so I will just finish this off by saying that I'm so thankful Trump decided to run all those years ago. I don't quite know what my life would have looked like, but I wouldn't have wanted it any other way. Even the 2020 election. I feel like it made us stronger, more resilient. It opened more eyes.
And if we win this one, it will be the sweetest victory ever because of everything we've been through.
With that said. Go out and vote for Donald J. Trump on November 5th and give him one final victory.
