The pad did work. I actually have it on video. The issue was the mahjong controller connector having an odd form, and it was needed to be pushed harder to he recognized. Plaion said it would not be an issue in the retail version. youtu.be/mLCT4oEdvdQ

Do you have a video showing the game actually being played with the Mahjong controller? In the clip you posted, the Start button does work, but the person shown in the video specifically said that they weren’t able to get the Mahjong controller working.

Mec… C’est mon jeux. Ma manette. Et si ça marche. Juste difficile à brancher. Et après en avoir parler avec plaion, c’est juste que connecteur n’a pas exactement la même forme et ce sera pris en compte dans la version final.

Oui, il s'agit d'une confusion de ma part avec la personne qui apparaît sur la vidéo, qui branche le pad et qui a partagé la vidéo. Il est important de clarifier. Cela étant dit, As-tu une preuve que le pad a fonctionné ? Car la fiche est bien enfoncée dans le port sur la vidéo et le résultat est la même en branchant le pad normal et en appuyant sur start.

I heard that after some configuration they did get it to work, but both reports were from French channels so I don’t m know if there was a translation error or not. I’m trying to confirm.

There’s absolutely no footage or proof of the issue fixed. But apparently, Furrtek did it. The person who brought the Mahjong controller told he wasn’t there to actually verify what was claimed afterwards. So I honestly have no idea how the issue was fixed, considering they didn’t even have a controller on hand at that point.

In AES mode it should autodetect and switch to mahjong controller mode. MVS mode probably won't work because the AES+ doesn't have the MVS hard dip switchea.

You must power cycle the system if there's a connectivity issue, adjusting controller plug after power on won't fix it. (controller only checked at boot)
