Boomerdom as temporal vampirism, "credit" as a feeding tube that today sticks into tomorrow, sucking the future dry for the mother of all parties in the moment, "40 is the new 20", "50 is the new 20", "60, 70, 80 is the...", ah why are the kids reproducing at the rate of post-menopausal women, why do they all look so haggard, no don't ask questions, absolutely refuse to confront opportunity cost, trade-off, permanence, consequence, irreversible change, process termination; no funerals, no last rites, no dignity or ceremony, only Celebrations of Life, because the party never ends, there's always something else you can mortgage, even if it doesn't belong to you, you just need to do a leveraged buyout of the future, your kid's future, your grandkid's future, someone else's grandkids maybe, it doesn't matter whose future you just need to find that sweet pulse of unborn youthful energy and squeeze it out like a fat little lime into the liquor of liquidity. Keep the party going. Treat yourself. You deserve it.
Boomers essentially stole 10-20 years from the life of every young American. That's their crime. Compound interest. Capital accumulation. Opportunity cost. Capitalized value. It's never coming back.
