The TS5 Plus leverages a technology called PCIe Passthrough to drive its Ethernet and the majority of the USB ports. This gives the dock expandability beyond what Thunderbolt natively supports, but the host computer has to support PCIe passthrough to support these features.

To update, I’d encourage you to power cycle your TS4 by:
- disconnect the dock from power for 30-45 seconds, then replug to ‘reboot’ your TS4
- restart computer
- unplug both ends of your Thunderbolt 4 cable and re-connect them, preferably using a different thunderbolt port

Our TS4's new firmware version is imminent. This will address the sleep/wake behavior appearing on M1 devices. We're going through some final housekeeping for the update and will launch it later this week for both macOS and Windows.

Just adding on to this, please note that the warranty for this dock has recently been extended to 2 years. If you are within 2 years, please reach out to us as soon as possible.

Hello! You can daisy chain these, but cannot receive more than 2 monitors in this way.
Please note that KVM switches have worked for some of our customers, but others have said otherwise. This is something that we don't officially support, but may work nonetheless.

If you haven't checked out our downloads page lately, you may want to consider doing so! We've released the TS3 Plus firmware 44.1 on Windows, as well as releasing firmware to help our USB-C Pro Dock use monitors more easily on ChromeOS!

Why would you put 3.2 gen 2 into a type A port and 3.2 gen 1 in the C port?? This is very strange.
This is not Thunderbolt 3 capable. This is using the gen 1 (5gbps) and gen 2 (10 gbps) protocol, while our dock requires Thunderbolt 3 (40gbps) protocol.

We don't have a firm timeframe on this, but our engineers assure us that this is coming to pass 'soon'. If this is something that is urgent that you update, please DM us and we may be able to update your unit on your behalf or replace it with one that has the correct firmware.

Absolutely - if you are on a Mac computer, look in your System Information application when the cord is connected to a Thunderbolt item. The speed should let you know the lowest data transfer speed of the chain (including the Thunderbolt item you are connecting to).

Hey Mike, for that dock please make sure you purchase an Active DisplayPort to HDMI. The TS3 Plus is not DP++ compliant and needs that active adapter.
