Back, 30 years ago, there were more moon landing photos available and I pointed out that the images had intersecting shadows, which meant multiple sources of light. Plus, the shadows were coming from weird directions. When I pointed this out, everyone thought I was crazy. I told them that it was easier for me to believe that they faked the moonlanding, than it was for me to believed that the astronauts made it past all the radiation belts in a tin can and lived to tell us about it.
People laughed at me. I told them that they would need 6 feet of lead on all sides to be protected from that kind of radiation. They still laughed at me.
Now it’s 2026, and we have so much more information about the moonlanding, and people still believe it. I guess people would rather believe in a lie to than the truth if it makes them feel more accepted by society. 🤷🏼♀️
