Carl, I assume you are using a DSLR or similar. What setting speed do you use when catching a flying bird? I’m always confused as to what speed to set my Nikon on. Here are two hawks I shot a few years ago in flight. I’d have to look to see what speed I set it at.

Looks big in your pic, but the American Kestrel is the smallest falcon in North America - small but mighty.
