I really like some of his songs.. they hit me hard… the fact he talked shit about our president isn’t the deal breaker for me. It’s that he aligned himself with Kimmel. Dear Sane America, Can we talk about how completely pathetic it is when washed up singers decide they’re political philosophers? I used to like Jelly Roll’s music. I actually thought the grit and the “I’m just a real one” act meant something. Turns out it was just marketing for a 41-year-old man-child who can’t open his mouth without proving how small he really is. This walking advertisement for zero self-control just called the President of the United States a “fat pig” on national television. An 80-year-old man. From the safety of a late-night stage, of course. Real brave. Real classy. Completely out of line and somehow still the least embarrassing part of the whole performance.
