Arsenal missed out on Vinicius Junior & Julian Alvarez, world class attackers to take them to another level. Bukayo Saka should be looking to be that guy now for Arsenal & use the lack of stardust narrative as motivation! telegraph.co.uk/football/202…

In fairness Jamie I think Saka pound for pound has probably matched up and exceeded a Alvarez based on domestic level. Alvarez was a support act at City and also for international side. Vinicius - definitely a level Saka has yet to aspire to.

Trouble is that there is not that many quality attackers in world football at the moment. Saka and Odegaard were off last season but hopefully get back to their best as it will feel like two new signings, plus everyone forgets how potent Merino is.

Saka is bland. He has talent no doubt but he doesn't have magic. A very good steady eddy. Nothing more. Like Arsenal tbh.

Saka is not the stardust guy, he lacks natural footballing ability andd technique for that He is more like Hames milner, a hardworking guy who made a career out of exceptional workrate and adaptability Ødegaard and Eze are the Arsenal players who can produce moments of magic

All Saka has to do is continue letting the numbers speak for themselves 🤷🏿‍♂️

Please explain why it’s always Arsenal or an Arsenal player you have to talk about.

Saka is already world class. Salah had Mané/Firmino/Díaz/Jota. Haaland had De Bruyne. The issue isn’t Saka lacking “stardust” — it’s Arsenal relying on him to provide nearly all of it. Surround him with another world-class attacker and watch the difference.

Saka is already better than Vini & Alvarez, the issue for some is that they feel whatever other two attackers start do not contribute as much as they should

If you’re a defender you’d want to play under Arteta or a midfielder but attackers don’t wanna go Arsenal because they know Arteta will limit them. Yet gyökeres managed to score 21 goals or so last season. Yet Arteta benches him for that shit cunt Havertz 🤦‍♂️

@Carra23 But you started that narrative on national TV the day before the first game? Apparently, Saliba is the only world class player

Why after 8 years and multiple injuries would he be that guy ? He’s never been that guy 🤣

He’s at that level already. We’ve just asked him to jump through hoops to be considered that way. We’ve gave Palmer that status for example and he hasn’t done what Saka has done for club and country tbh

Bukayo Saka is a world class. Dead that narrative of yours Alvarez was on the bench before leaving for Athletico, how does that make him a world class while saka consistently performing for past five seasons is not?

When Saka is consistent for multiple seasons like Salah did. Salahs worst season is Saka’s best 🤣

Injuries are the only reason why Saka has not been able to reach those heights. But you’re purposefully ignoring that important part in your discussions. When it was Palmer, he abundantly gets the injury excuse and not him

Bukayo Saka has the same G/A as world class Vini jr, but in less games and he also started his career at LB

Mate, it’s you using the ‘no stardust in attack’ narrative on Sky every week. Notice how none of Arsenal’s star targets are on the RW, it’s the same as if Liverpool tried to ADD a star in attack alongside Isak/Barcola. Same boring articles this year again ffs, post about Pool.

Agreed Cara. Saka needs to step up now. He is still 24, so the potential of growth is still available to him.

I hope I'm wrong but I just dont see Saka becoming that guy. He doesnt have that x factor that world class wingers have. He's good but hes only spoke in such high regards because hes English.
