You're only young once, but you can be immature forever.

A horrific Russian strike in the Kharkiv region. A “shahed” struck people directly – in a park near an ordinary café. Pure atrocity. Six people were killed, including children. A little girl was killed in a stroller – her name was Angelina, she was just over a year old, born in August 2025… Her mother’s name was Inna. She died in the hospital… Another girl who was killed was 11 years old. My condolences to their families and loved ones. Another 14 people were injured, including six more children. I am grateful to everyone who supports Ukraine under these circumstances and helps us shoot down “shaheds,” shoot down missiles, and stop Russian assaults. These are horrific photos, but behind them are shattered lives and the truth about this war. Lives must be protected. Ukraine needs air defense. You can't think about making money with Russia as long as it continues its asinine war. We ask that sanctions on Russia stay in place as long as the killings continue. We ask America to be strong, and we ask it to apply the Lindsey Graham law. We ask Europe to continue its support. We ask that everything possible be done to bring peace and guarantee security. Ukraine wants peace. It is Russia that has insisted on continuing the killing all this time. The world has enough strength to stop the war. That strength must finally be used – against the murderers.

Vance: "I think Ukrainians should stop bombing Russian energy... I don't think that Ukraine should be in NATO." NO ONE WAS TOUCHING THEIR PRECIOUS ENERGY UNTIL THEY INVADED US! And maybe, just maybe, Russia should stop murdering Ukrainian civilians on a daily basis, JD? Maybe they shouldn't be murdering babies in their strollers in the park like they did today? Maybe they should stop an almost 5-year-long bombing campaign against Ukrainian infrastructure designed to plunge us into a humanitarian disaster and force us to surrender? How about that? Or, hear me out, maybe they should fuck off back across the border, and then no one will bomb them again?

For nearly half a century, Iran's Islamic Republic promised to bring America to its knees and wipe Israel off the map. Now its missile crews are getting slaughtered, its economy is bleeding, and the revolutionary tough guys are suddenly discussing how to end the fucking war. Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian reportedly admitted that 1,500 personnel stationed at missile launchers have been killed. Some spent months underground without returning home. Beautiful work, gentlemen. Decades building supposedly untouchable missile cities, preaching revolutionary invincibility, and threatening Armageddon, only to discover that concrete bunkers don't make the men operating your weapons immortal. And then there's Saeed Jalili. This hardline bastard made a career out of defying America, opposing concessions, and promising that resistance would make Iran's enemies regret confronting it. Now he wants the "shadow of war" lifted from Iran. The shadow of war? What happened to Death to America? What happened to the glorious revolution? What happened to making the Great Satan tremble? Apparently, revolutionary fanaticism sounds considerably less impressive when your commanders are dead, your oil revenue is collapsing, your currency is circling the drain, and Trump is publicly contemplating another visit to your nuclear infrastructure with some very large conventional explosives. And that's the exquisite humiliation of this entire spectacle. The regime spent generations demanding sacrifice from ordinary Iranians while promising that defiance would deliver strength, security, and eventual triumph. Now the bill has arrived, and the same political establishment that glorified confrontation is struggling to figure out how much more punishment its precious revolution can survive. Forty-seven years of chest-thumping, terrorist financing, nuclear brinkmanship, and chants about America's destruction. And now? The men who promised to bring America to its knees are desperately calculating how to keep America from bringing their entire goddamn regime to its knees. (article below)

Many people will probably recognize this photo. Meet Vasyl Vasiuta, a 53-year-old man from Ukraine’s Lviv region. He has nine children. Three of his sons went to war. One of them was killed. Poland is just 10 kilometers from his home. The front line is 1,300 kilometers away. Yet ten years ago, Vasyl volunteered to join the Ukrainian Armed Forces. All three of his sons eventually fought alongside him. In February 2022, his 20-year-old son Dmytro was killed near Mykolaiv. It took nearly a month to find his body. He was finally identified by his tattoo. Of the three brothers who went to war, Dmytro was killed, Ivan was discharged from the military after being wounded, and Marian is still fighting in the Donbas. When Marian learned that his brother had been killed, he immediately called his father. Vasyl had just one word in response: “Understood.” After losing his son, Vasyl was wounded himself. His arm hadn't healed, he had lost feeling in three fingers, and his knee still hurt. Yet he kept pushing to return to the front. “That’s what real courage looks like to me. When Dmytro was killed, my father didn't give up. A week later, he was wounded himself, but he kept fighting,” his son says. For years, Vasyl sent his sons the same message while they were at the front: “Son, how are you? Just send me a plus sign on Viber.” When asked what it's like to have three sons at war, he gives a simple answer: “Hard. Very hard.” His injuries and declining health eventually forced him to leave the front. He returned home and now works as a forester. But his thoughts are still there. Every day, he walks 20 kilometers through the forest, perhaps trying to quiet the pain he carries inside. In his home village of Cherneve, 90 of the 800 residents serve in the military. Five have been killed. One is missing. And Vasyl keeps walking through the forest, thinking of his sons. Living with a loss that can never be undone and a pain that never truly goes away.

A month ago Trump signed a tough Russia sanctions law. One call with Putin later, he's lifting sanctions on Russian diesel, demanding Kyiv stop hitting Russian refineries, and telling Ukraine to get "a new leader." His big "energy ceasefire"? Russian drones hit Kharkiv within hours. Putin humiliates Trump every chance he gets. Why does Trump allow it? 🤔

🔴 Iran Update: There is an absolute IRGC bloodbath happening in the Iranian region of Sistan & Balochestan. Assassinations everywhere and almost daily. I haven't spoken much about this particular battlefield. As an Iranian nationalist I will never approve of separatism, nor will I blindly praise the JMM militant group. I don't know this group, and as of writing this I don't trust them either. They claim to fight for all of Iran after merging several militant groups together, but at least one faction among them are historically Baloch separatists. They are also very conservative sunni muslims. Therefore, I won't boost their videos or statements for the time being. Until I know where the Shah and his team stand regarding this group and where they stand regarding him, I won't give them my attention. However, I can speak about what the last few weeks of fighting could mean for Iran: Regardless of what I think of JMM, their targets have Iranian blood on their hands and undoubtedly deserve it. IRGC thugs, basijis, regime linked clerics and foreign proxy terrorists are all being killed at a growing rate. Police stations, bases and checkpoints are raided. Patrols come under attack as they drive through cities. There's been at least one case of fighting reaching the Kerman region. Today, a female basiji commander was assassinated in front of her house. Yesterday, dozens of Afghan proxy terrorists were wiped out. Last month, a regime linked sunni cleric was shot dead. Many of the assassinations are very high ranking. I don't know what suddenly changed, but it's gotten very deadly and dangerous to be an islamic regime figure in S&B. What does all of this mean? 1) The islamic regime is losing control. 2) Regime thugs used to feel safe and protected. Now they don't. Psychologically this will do serious damage, especially to lower ranking demoralised basijis who aren't receiving their blood money salaries anymore due to sanctions. 3) If this keeps up, the islamic regime will have to send large forces from other regions to go fight in S&B. I shouldn't have to explain that this will benefit the rest of Iran when the next uprising happens. Thousands of IRGC terrorists forced to fight in the South East means thousands fewer IRGC to oppress Iranians in other provinces. It means evening out the playing field. Again, this is an analysis, not an endorsement of JMM. They still need to clarify their stance on Iran's territorial integrity, their stance on the Shah, and their stance on separatism and islamism. We also need to know what their actual goal is once the islamic regime is overthrown. Until then, as far as I'm concerned, the IRGC is getting killed in big numbers from within Iran and seemingly without any outside assistance, and that's what I will focus on. What's happening in S&B is going to have huge consequences for Iran in the coming months, and everyone should pay attention.

Congratulations to NBC’s Kristen Welker, who has apparently pioneered a revolutionary new form of journalism: interviewing a Senate candidate while demonstrating absolutely no fucking interest in what his answers mean. Michigan Democrat Abdul El-Sayed was asked whether he or his family had ties to the Muslim Brotherhood. He said no. Twice. Wonderful! Case closed! Somebody get this woman a Pulitzer. Except El-Sayed’s own half-sister, Eman Abdelhadi, had publicly written, “My family has long been MB,” described their mother’s Muslim Brotherhood activism in Egypt, and discussed relatives imprisoned for belonging to the organization. You’d think that might inspire a question. Perhaps even two, if NBC’s investigative journalism department could survive the exertion. Instead, Welker allowed El-Sayed to accuse Republican Mike Rogers of attacking his Muslim faith and launch into a 479-word campaign speech lasting more than two and a half minutes. Four hundred seventy-nine words. Jesus Christ. At that point, why bother having an interviewer? Just hand the candidate a microphone, dim the lights, and let his campaign manager yell cut when the commercial ends. And remember, this is the same Welker who can interrupt Donald Trump like a malfunctioning smoke detector when the subject turns to authoritarianism. Apparently, her journalistic instincts come with a party affiliation and an extremely convenient on-off switch. The truly humiliating part is how little effort actual journalism would have required. Read the sister’s statements. Ask El-Sayed to explain them. Wait for an answer. Four simple steps, apparently beyond the operational capabilities of NBC News. What a magnificent fucking embarrassment for a network that still expects Americans to take its political coverage seriously. NBC should save itself the trouble of pretending these are interviews. Replace Welker’s desk with a campaign-approved suggestion box. At least then viewers would know exactly who's writing the fucking questions. (article below)

Do facts even matter anymore? Case in point. Trump declares a ceasefire on energy between Ukraine & Russia. Both Putin and Zelensky say they didn’t know about it. Zelensky welcomes it. Putin launches attack against Ukraine energy. Open up X and Zelensky is getting raked while Putin is left alone… I get people are emotional and I’m not ever arguing Zelensky is good, but man, if we don’t let facts guide us, what is left…?

I’m French. I want to talk to Americans who are about to vote Democrat. Not to insult you. To warn you. I come from your future. In France we did everything your progressive politicians promise. Free healthcare, free college, generous welfare, strong unions, heavy regulation, high taxes on the rich, a state that takes care of everything. Public spending close to 57% of GDP, one of the highest on the planet. On paper, it’s the dream. Here’s what it looks like from the inside. France hasn’t passed a balanced budget since 1974. Our debt is above 3,300 billion euros. Interest on that debt is becoming one of the biggest items in the national budget. Our hospitals are collapsing despite record funding. Our schools rank lower every year. Young people with degrees can’t afford an apartment in the city they were born in. Our best engineers leave for London, Zurich and San Francisco. And the rich you wanted to tax? They left too, and took the jobs with them. The promise was protection. The result is stagnation. The worst part is that nobody in France voted for decline. Every single step sounded generous, compassionate, reasonable. One more program. One more regulation. One more tax to fund it. Each step alone makes sense. Fifty years of them, and you wake up in a country that can no longer build a nuclear plant on time or keep its streets safe. I love America because it’s the one place on earth where people still believe they can build something from nothing. I came to Silicon Valley as a self-taught kid and it changed my life. That spirit is the most precious thing your country has. Before you vote, ask yourself one question: is the program you’re voting for making America more like America, or more like France? Trust me. You don’t want to be France.
On a ri.

I spent 15+ years investigating Russian secret services and organized crime. I know people who served with Putin in the KGB and sat in on his deals with St. Petersburg crime bosses. So let me explain the "diesel deal" the way they would — in gangster slang. Because that's the language Putin actually thinks in. First, the facts. Putin just raised Russia's 2027 military budget by 27% to a record 17.1 trillion rubles — about $203 billion. Who budgets that kind of money for a war they're about to end? The FT reported yesterday that Western intelligence has warned the heads of European defense companies that Russia is plotting to assassinate them. Since September, Tusk, Macron and the intelligence services of Poland, Czechia, Latvia, Belgium, France and Denmark have all warned that Russian hybrid attacks — including drone and missile strikes — will intensify in the coming months. None of this looks like a country preparing for peace. Who actually benefits? 🇺🇸 What the US gets: Every serious analysis I've read says the announced volumes won't move American diesel prices. This is a PR move for Trump before the midterms — a story about prices that will "very, very soon" come down once his friend Vladimir's tankers reach US shores, plus the chance to claim he ended another war (I've lost count). The only US "benefit" is Trump's rating. 🇷🇺 What Russia gets: billions of dollars to keep funding its genocidal war against Ukrainians. Sanctions relief. A demonstration of power to the rest of the world. A deeper rift between the US and its European allies. And a real chance to disrupt US weapons and intelligence flowing to Ukraine. So what is Putin's actual goal? Trump's disapproval is at record highs and polls show his party will most likely loose midterm elections. In less than a month his power will be badly weakened. Why would Putin sign a long-term peace deal with a lame duck whose signature will soon be scrutinized at best and annulled at worst? He wouldn't. And here's where the slang comes in. In the eyes of Putin and his siloviki, Trump is a baryga — a greedy, unscrupulous businessman who puts profit above law and principle. Gangsters despise barygas, but they love using them. The goal is always to turn a baryga into a lokh — a mark, an outsider who doesn't understand the rules of the underworld and gets played to serve the gang's interests. By signing the diesel deal, Putin plays two scenarios at once: A) The deal miraculously helps his lokh keep power — great. B) The deal changes nothing, the baryga loses the midterms — but by then it has already done its job: inflamed US political tensions and acted as arson inside the American system. Putin knows that the majority of Americans support Ukraine. He knows that by signing, Trump draws unprecedented criticism, including from his own party. And he knows a baryga won't give up power easily, because he will have to answer for everything he did in office — this deal included. That's classic gangster/secret-service method: tie a man to your organization, make him a partner in your crimes, so he can't walk away. Pouring more oil — diesel, in this case — onto the most explosive fault lines of American politics, raising the stakes for Trump and pushing him past the point of no return serves Putin far better than a peace deal that could be voided within months. Remember: Putin's goal in the West is chaos, not peace.

When he is rejected and betrayed by those once called friends. When allies grow weary, politicians negotiate, and some are already poised to shake the hand of the executioner. When his life and the life of his country are daily targets for rockets, drones, bombs, and lies. I have no idea how this man has endured all this. And continues to endure it. He does not look like a movie hero. He looks like a man who hasn't slept in years. He has been cast aside. With eyes burning for the homes of Kyiv, Kharkiv, Dnipro, and Odesa. With eyes that see all of Ukraine. He asks for no pity. He courageously asks for weapons. He does not flee. He stands his ground and bares his chest. When offered evacuation, he says: "I need ammunition, not a taxi." And this is not just a catchy phrase. It is a choice proven over years. Every day. Every night. Right now. He has been betrayed and continues to be betrayed. He has been underestimated and continues to be underestimated. He has been insulted and continues to be insulted. He has been put to the test and continues to be put to the test. And he stands tall. In the shadow of ruined cities. With weary soldiers. In the shadow of a world that is also weary—a world that wants to forget this war in Ukraine and think of something that causes no suffering or stress, something pleasant. Yet he reminds everyone. He speaks to people as if holding their hands. And there is something in that which brings a lump to one's throat. In all my life, I have never admired any public figure more than him. And I think, perhaps, I never will again. Because such admiration is not about politics. It is about a man who, when everything is falling apart, does not ask "Why me?" but—like a knight—does what must be done. I am certain he will stand firm, even if it costs him his life. Even if all his friends leave. Even if the whole world turns its back on him. He will not betray his principles. The entire world respects him—not because he is perfect, but because he is the strongest of them all, because he has raised the banner of the highest values: human dignity, freedom, and democracy. And all of Ukraine stands with him—weary and wounded, yet unbowed. Perhaps in the future, you will vote for someone else in the presidential election. That is your right. But today, let us respect him. We have a president who deserves respect and of whom we need not be ashamed. May he have strength and patience. Volodymyr Oleksandrovych deserves kind words and every form of support today. So let us give it to him—it is our duty!

Mr. Hanson, thank you for removing the ambiguity. “Putin took it, it is his.” That is not a description of military reality. It is a declaration that conquest confers ownership. By your standard, territorial sovereignty belongs to whoever can seize and hold the territory, and international borders possess no authority beyond the military strength available to defend them. You ask how many times Ukraine’s borders have changed throughout history. Many borders have changed. That is precisely why the modern international order distinguishes lawful territorial change from acquisition by force. Otherwise the history of conquest becomes a permanent licence to repeat it. Your argument would not merely apply to Ukraine. It would apply to every smaller country facing a stronger neighbour. And your assurance that Putin cannot threaten NATO is irrelevant to the principle you have just endorsed. The prohibition against territorial conquest does not begin at NATO’s borders. Nor is American strategic interest reducible to whether Russian tanks can reach a NATO capital. The credibility of security commitments, the stability of European borders, and the precedent established by rewarding aggression are strategic considerations, whether you acknowledge them or not. You began by presenting yourself as a realist describing facts on the ground. You have now advanced a doctrine in which possession creates legitimacy and historical conquest excuses future conquest. That is not realism. It is the legal philosophy of the invading army. The extraordinary thing, Mr. Hanson, is that you appear to believe you are defending the international order while casually abolishing the principle that protects its borders.

I can't believe Trump would weaponize the government. How could that happen, Ilhan? You mean the same way your squad of sanctimonious Democratic clowns turns every federal agency into a personal revenge-porn factory while you cry "oppression" between cashing checks and dodging basic questions about your own shady-ass history? Spare me the fake outrage, you hypocritical piece of shit.

At some point, a lot of people are going to have to come to grips with the fact that they at one time or another fell for Russian propaganda. We all have. It is that prevalent and it’s that corrosive and that effective. Smart people will be able to admit that, learn from it, and move on. The stubborn people are going to continuously keep guzzling propaganda for peasants.

I support Donald Trump—specifically when it comes to Iran. I believe the freedom of the Iranian people will benefit the world in ways that are difficult to articulate. It will be glorious. Having said that, using Ukraine as a punching bag, for a political stunt, is morally bankrupt. It’s just wrong. Putin is a maniac—hands dripping with blood. Russia has been ACTIVELY working against America in the war with the Islamic regime. Russia has helped the regime kill Americans. Yet, I’m seeing some Americans cheering this “deal” on?? Trump wants to give these same people cash for oil that would sustain the US for like a week? This is beyond stupid. Russia is an anti West hell hole. I hope Ukraine gets all the help it needs to burn all of Russia’s refineries. They started this war. I have absolutely no sympathy for these expansionist freaks.

That resurfaced Jake Tapper interview with Cassidy Hutchinson is a glorious time capsule of the media's desperate, slobbering obsession with finally destroying Donald Trump. There was CNN's favorite kind of witness, delivering the kind of explosive testimony that made the Trump-hating press practically wet itself with excitement. Trump supposedly lunged for the steering wheel of his presidential vehicle! Tried to seize control! Democracy was in danger! Surely the walls were closing in this time! One tiny fucking problem. Hutchinson WASN'T EVEN THERE. She was repeating a story supposedly told to her by someone else. The actual driver contradicted her account. Tony Ornato disputed the version attributed to him. Apparently, asking people who were actually present what happened was too much fucking work when there was a sensational Trump story to broadcast. And the revelations only got uglier. A subsequent congressional investigation reported that testimony from FOUR White House employees contradicted Hutchinson and the January 6 Committee's final report. That testimony, investigators said, had been redacted and suppressed. Imagine that. The people demanding complete transparency about Trump had some serious problems with transparency themselves. Now the DOJ is reportedly seeking a federal indictment against Hutchinson for lying to Congress, with evidence already presented to a grand jury. And suddenly that old Tapper interview looks like a monument to journalistic arrogance. The breathless excitement. The unquestioning fascination with a politically convenient witness. The desperate hope that THIS would finally be the revelation that finished Trump. These smug bastards spent years treating every accusation like a conviction and every contradiction like an inconvenience. Now their celebrated witness faces the possibility of criminal charges over her own testimony. What a spectacular fucking reversal. Jake Tapper and his fellow media crusaders spent years waiting for the walls to close in on Trump. They've now got a grand jury investigating the credibility of the woman they helped turn into a national sensation. The journalists who treated a secondhand political spectacle like a guilty verdict finally have a real legal investigation to cover. This time, the witness is the one under the microscope. Christopher Wray warned that the investigation could be “disruptive to the democratic process if publicly disclosed prior to an election.” Then the son of a bitch recommended it anyway. Merrick Garland approved it anyway. That is the fucking story. The same political class that spent years screeching “DEMOCRACY!” like a goddamn fire alarm had an FBI director privately admitting that this operation could blow up the democratic process if voters found out before an election. And they still pulled the trigger. Then the machinery started moving. Trump’s travel tracked. Melania’s travel tracked. Barron’s travel tracked. A teenage boy got pulled into the orbit of a federal political investigation because apparently there was no fucking boundary these people were unwilling to cross. Then came Susie Wiles. Phone metadata. Call logs. Lawyers. Senators. Journalists. Contacts mapped. Durations recorded. Political relationships cataloged like fucking evidence tags in a warehouse. And all of it sat beneath Wray’s own warning that public disclosure could disrupt the democratic process. Do you understand how fucking damning that is? They knew. They fucking knew. They knew this would look like exactly what it looks like: federal law-enforcement power aimed into the heart of a rival political operation during an election era. Then they approved the bastard anyway. After years of sanctimonious bullshit about norms, institutions, democracy, rule of law, and every other slogan these people beat Americans over the head with, their own paperwork now shows them staring straight at the political danger and saying: proceed. That is the betrayal. That is the obscenity. That is the part they can never bullshit their way out of. The scandal is no longer buried in what they did behind closed doors. The scandal is that they understood exactly how fucking explosive those closed doors were hiding... and opened the operation anyway. (article below)

Unrest and mass arrests in Moscow and several other Russian cities today, as the country's second largest political party staged protests against the Putin regime, after obtaining permission under false pretense. As over 2000 led a march in central Moscow with chants of "Down with the Czar", Putin's goons cracked skulls, arresting around 100. The second protest in the past few days, today's march began at Krasnopresnenskaya Zastava Square before marching toward the Russian White House. The government-authorized the demonstration only because they were told its intent was to commemorate those killed in the 1993 constitutional crisis, but things quickly became clear. Chants of.. “Down with the Tsar!” “We want freedom!” “Free political prisoners!” “Honest elections!” “No political repression!” The location and anniversary carry particular symbolism, as protesters were marching toward the site of Russia’s violent 1993 confrontation between Boris Yeltsin and parliament while openly denouncing Russia’s current political system. No mention of the genocidal war being waged at their behest and with their tax dollars.
