When we hit 9 million domains, one of you shared that they had 9,000 domains with Spaceship.
We loved that💙
Now that we've hit 10 million, we want to hear from more of you and give away some gifts :)
Tell us how many domains you have with Spaceship for a chance to win one of three identical Spaceship sets: a backpack + a bottle + a cap.
The highest number wins one set.
And if yours isn't the highest, you're still in: two more winners will be picked at random.
To enter:
- Like this post
- Quote repost it with your number
- Make sure you're following us
We'll announce the winners in 4 days, on October 6.
Winners will be asked to provide their Spaceship username so we can verify their domain count.
Having good neighbors is pretty important, avoids future conflicts and may help you in times of need. You already got problems before you went it in, doesn't bode well. Many people would welcome you, sometimes good places are tarnished by who lives nearby.
Wanna know how the Hermann’s, the neighbors suing me, made their money? Really “special” people (incidentally in their own nearly 20,000 sqft compound): democracynow.org/2010/3/3/vu…
That precious ram, drives and cpu... probably some good gpu too. Not to mention the expensive cooling systems. "we might be a bit upset" is a real understatement.
Amazon exec: you wouldn't notice [if someone blew up a datacenter]. I mean, we might be a bit upset, but you wouldn't notice! [laughs]

ALT But hold on a second: If we're concentrating all of our data into data centers, and concentrating most of the data centers in one county, doesn't that make a very tempting target for terrorists?
Amazon's Matt Wood isn't worried: "If something does happen or we have a power event or there's a flood in one specific location, that data is held redundantly in other locations as well."
Pogue asked, "I don't mean to give anyone ideas, but let's say I figured out that one of these unmarked buildings was an AWS data center, and I blew it up. Are you saying that it's so backed up and redundant that you probably wouldn't notice?"
"Yeah, you wouldn't notice. I mean, we might be a bit upset, but you wouldn't notice!" Wood laughed.

Amazon Web Services (AWS) says it is unable to restore access to resources and data in some of its Availability Zones in the Middle East after datacenters were damaged during the US war with Iran.
In an update to its AWS Health Dashboard, the cloud giant confirmed that anything hosted ex
We secured Delete.com (@joindeleteme)…and the process to buy it took a much bigger turn than we had expected.
Prior to acquiring the domain, Delete.com had been owned by Dr. Luann Linquist, a psychologist in her late 80s who was living in a care facility.
Years earlier, she had used the domain for a project called DeleteStress, but the registration had eventually lapsed and the domain ended up in the expired auction.
We thought we might be able to buy the domain for around $200,000, when we knew it was heading to auction.
But, once the auction started, one bidder increased their bids (right when time was about to expire) for four-hours straight.
Eventually, the auction ended with 356 bids from 32 different bidders, and a final price of $494,352.
The mystery bidder kept us on our toes and reminded us to keep our calendars open when we’re bidding on domains at auction – because you never know when your day is going to be monopolized by someone else trying to secure the same domain.

Ahrefs has zero traffic knowledge (they shouldn't even have that, there are many visitors that don't come from SERPS) while Cloudflare doesn't filter all obvious bot traffic. I've had people say my website receive x traffic because Ahrefs says it, it's beyond dumb.
With all recent data leaks happening, and more will continue to happen, having to send front and back of my Gov ID is not good. Encrypted on transit isn't the important part, it's where and how it's stored. Every week more private info becomes public and GOV IDs are no joke :(
We are about to launch a new domain sale payment service. $20 for any sales transaction until the end of the year. Let me know what you think: dynapay .com
Some people use dots but Gmail ignores them. I had to stop using my first Gmail account because it received thousands of emails that weren't for me and setting hundreds of filters wasn't a solution.
I own my last name in .com and my last name in Gmail, but it's my Gmail email that everyone with my last name somehow uses to sign up for everything, from doctors offices to reward accounts, etc.
I have no idea how it happens so often. Are they using my Gmail email exactly as is, or are they typing something else (maybe separated with a space) that's getting dropped off when they submit the email address.
Some people are trying to know your identity, others just lowball you (wasting time, a few never say anything else). When I see certain emails I know any reply is going nowhere.

25 years ago, in Portugal like you, I was paying taxes even when I was not having a profit, because I was investing heavily as I always did. Early 20s, by myself, no Unipessoal, just "recibos verdes". No bank loan, just credit card at 25% rate. And people think it was easy? Nope.
@Jobvo and I started seven or eight projects before @Remote. We killed almost all of them at the same point. We'd build something, start using it, sometimes even think about selling it. Then the questions would start. 🧵
I completely agree, and see how you he has 177,000 followers but after 3 days only 20 comments on such an important post. Social media isn't the way, and the public metrics are a joke.
social media is in crisis mode.
Followers: outdated term. no guarantee of seeing your content again. So it's not followers, it's "one-time positive interactions".
Views: Youtube was the last hold out and now they folded. all view counts are fake. most videos have a completion rate of 5% or less. So 1 million "views" is effectively 50,000 real humans watching. X is a big culprit too.
Comments: a good amount are bots, and 95% are emojis with zero value. Let alone the hate comments making creators retire or worse, suicide.
Revenue: non-existent on any platform except YouTube longs, and even that will probably change soon.
This brings us to today. Millions of broke creators competing for a chance to pop up in reels, to be viewed once by extremely bored users and forgotten forever. The platforms win. Users and creators lose.
this is the worst period for social media. The "Creator Economy" did not deliver for the masses. It delivered for the top 0.1% of creators and 4 platforms. that's it.
And the sad thing is...I have no idea where to start to fix it.
"Stalled". I think the domain brokerage system is broken at Godaddy Afternic, some brokers are sending the BIN and never follow up with other proposals down to floor price (if buyer doesn't reply after the BIN). What kind of negotiation is that?
I asked a broker, this was the reply: "Your buy now was all that was sent. I normally don't go back to buyers with a discount if they don't respond..". Imagine, wasting precious leads like this? You need to nurture, negotiate, remind, reach common ground. Not just "stalled".
is #Afternic showing "not using Afternic NS" on domains that ARE on ns1/ns2.afternic.com?
Especially after expiry/renew. Just got hit with 30% commission on a Fast Transfer sale even though NS never changed. Registrar confirms Afternic NS the whole time.
Anyone else seeing this?
