🚨NEW: Betting markets suggesting a "competitive race" as Tony Blair and the Green Party compete to win the "Who is the last person to listen to on Middle Eastern affairs?" award
“This weekend, the Green Party of England and Wales crossed a line. A dangerous line.” Tony Blair responds to the party’s “Zionism is Racism” motion and what it means for British politics and the future of the Middle East. Three years on from the October 7 attacks on Israel, we remember those who were senselessly killed by Hamas terrorists. The impact of the attacks has been felt not just in Israel, but in Jewish communities across the world who still bear the burden of the tragic events that day. In the years since, we have seen a disturbing rise in antisemitic behaviour in the UK. A year ago we witnessed a horrifying terrorist attack on the Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation in Manchester, with further attacks against Jewish people and institutions since. I want Britain’s Jewish community to hear this from me directly. We stand with you. Abuse and violence against you, in any form, will not be tolerated. Not on our streets, not online, not in our schools or universities. That’s why we are funding protection for synagogues, schools and community buildings, and why we will come down hard on antisemitism wherever it is found - in classrooms, on campuses and in neighbourhoods. At home, we are committed to protecting our citizens from vile hatred. Abroad, we continue to work towards a two-state solution, with Israelis and Palestinians living side by side in peace and security. An attack on Jewish people in Britain is an attack on all of us. Antisemitism has no place in this country, and we will do everything we can to stamp it out.

In recent days, I have heard Labour supporters of PR say that Labour should *NOT* go into coalition with the Greens. I've heard the same in the past said about the nationalist parties. No government with Reform, I assume, is a given with them. So how exactly is Labour meant to govern under PR? Under the perpetual thumb of the Liberal Democrats -- a party whose current leader was a Cabinet minister in a Conservative-led government?? Since 1945, Labour has won 9 majority governments. Tories have won 10. But let's throw that all away for... governing at the mercy of the whims of the Lib Dems. Great idea.... 🤨😑😮‍💨
If Labour want proportional representation, who are they planning on entering coalition government with then now the Greens have gone totally nuts? Surely Lab-Lib Dems not enough.

Not true. Fiona Bruce and the team have always made clear that Question Time has robust vetting procedures in place. Everyone who applies to be in the audience is interviewed and has to provide links to their social media accounts. If they don't - they don't get in.
BBC bias knows no bounds. The TV license is a scam. Reform UK will scrap it. ✅
