I call upon the entire international community to pay close attention to what has been happening in Brazil since 2019: censorship; political persecution of opponents; convictions without due process; individuals condemned to digital and financial non-existence; individuals condemned to oblivion (non-person / George Orwell’s *1984*); and individuals convicted for an imaginary and impossible coup d'état. The institutions of the Brazilian Republic are corrupt. The constitutional system of checks and balances is not functioning. The authorities who ought to defend human rights are remaining passive and complicit in a series of abuses of authority and violations of fundamental guarantees. These corrupt authorities (Executive, Legislative, and Judiciary) are trying to prevent Flávio Bolsonaro's victory to avoid being held accountable for crimes committed against innocent people—against the Brazilian people. And make no mistake: these corrupt officials are not linked solely to Daniel Vorcaro, Banco Master, and other corruption scandals. In all likelihood—and all indications point to this—they are connected to organized crime and the narco-terrorist factions operating in Brazil and around the world. For these corrupt officials, defeating Flávio Bolsonaro at any cost means survival and impunity.
