Deluzio: Yeah, look, I think the American people expect us to respond to potential national emergencies. We’re hearing from experts that there’s a potential for catastrophe. It’s not 100%, but there’s a real percentage of this, and we should be doing something.
It’s reckless for the House to be sent away from Washington for seven weeks. This requires bold action. This requires us to come together, do something on AI safety. Leaving town because you want your members to campaign is a real abdication of responsibility.
