As a fan of both and now that they're both gone I have to ask if anyone knows the story behind the David Allan Coe song "Jimmy Buffett Doesn't Live in Key West Anymore?"
Was there more to it or is it a singular shot through the void?
An offer:
With the current iteration of the bar exam on life support, if anyone needs an additional resource for the MBE, the UBE, or Florida, feel free to email me for a downloadable copy of the books I've written. On the house.
These books won't have much use once the NextGen administration takes over so I'd rather the books go out into the world and do some good while time remains. And it won't even cost you the $28 that it costs, apparently, to buy lunch.
Only caveat is to be patient. The emails can pile up, but I'll get to them.

I'm an old fart so I grew up with Cunningham and loved him. Also loved Mcnabb at the time. They were both "fun to watch". These past 10 years though, winning is so much better than fun watches. I'll be nostalgic for this era when I'm 80
NASA pilot Victor Glover CLAPS back after being asked what it means to be the first black man to visit the moon: “It’s the story of humanity, not black history, not women’s history, but that it becomes human history.”
“I also HOPE we are pushing the other direction that one day we don’t have to talk about these first. That one day, this is just—and listen to this—that this is the human history.”
We have it within us to be the type of people who try to get things done, try with everything we've got, and, whatever verdict comes in, are ready to accept it instantly and move on to whatever is next.
Is that you? Because it can be.
Perhaps my favorite Supreme Court exchange in recent memory:
Solicitor general: “It’s a new world."
John Roberts: "It's a new world. It's the same Constitution."
Into my veins 😌

Wonder if the #Phillies will follow the three-year option with City Connect jerseys and debut a new one next year.
The franchise could retire the current City Connect design after the 2026 season — or opt to retain it.
Me in college: “oh that event has free food, I’m definitely going”
Me in law school: “oh that event has free food, I’m definitely going”
Me as an adult: “oh that event has free food, I’m definitely going”
The food may be better now but some things will never change.
