Even worse, working class Americans live 5-10 years shorter lives than the wealthy. Why is that? What can we do about it?

We were always one major medical bill away from losing everything. It wasn't until the Affordable Care Act made it illegal to deny care that he was finally insured. When the ACA passed, my father cried. And that's a big deal because he's the kind of guy who never cries.
