Not trans. Not a drag queen. Not an immigrant. White maga man. You hypocrites.
Meet MAGAt Carson Dean Barry, a 23-year-old conservative social media "influencer" who managed to parlay mocking liberals and whining about Biden's gas prices into over 570,000 followers across TikTok and Instagram. When he wasn't busy filming right-wing commentary to save America, it turns out he was allegedly keeping himself occupied with much darker pursuits right out of his Mount Pleasant, South Carolina home.
On September 10, 2026, his online patriotism took a sharp turn into reality when the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force raided his house. The South Carolina Attorney General’s Office subsequently slapped him with six felony counts: five counts of third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor for possessing child sexual abuse material (CSAM), and one count of criminal solicitation of a minor for allegedly trying to solicit a child for sex. It seems the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children threw a massive wrench into his content creation schedule.
Naturally, this champion of law and order didn't stay behind bars long. After getting booked at the Al Cannon Detention Center, he managed to secure his freedom by posting a casual $1 million bond. He is currently free to contemplate the up to 60 years in prison he faces—10 years for each felony—while he waits for his first official court date on October 30, 2026.
Following his arrest, Carson Dean Barry’s public social media presence vanished as major platforms took immediate action to wipe his profiles. His primary TikTok account, which had amassed over 423,000 followers, was permanently banned and deactivated in accordance with the platform's strict zero-tolerance policies regarding child exploitation. Similarly, his Instagram account, containing roughly 150,000 followers, was entirely disabled and removed. Although his official handles are completely gone, screen recordings and archival clips of his past right-wing commentary continue to circulate on platforms like X as public discussion surrounding the criminal case intensifies.
