Immigration to Welfare: Did you know the Govt passed a new Social Housing law this summer ? “The Housing and Residential Tenancies Act 2026” This Act sets the rules for asylum seekers’ access to social housing To qualify for social housing you must be “lawfully resident” and “habitually resident” in Ireland. “lawfully resident” includes: • Refugee status • Subsidiary protection • Permission to remain • Programme refugee status • Certain qualifying family permissions So once someone moves from being an asylum applicant, they have an immediate legal gateway to the social housing list. Social housing is NOT for citizens only. And To be clear: Until this summer, the rules governing migrants’ access to social housing were largely contained in a Departmental circular from 2012. The Govt has now written them directly into law. This was a chance to tighten up access to social benefits. Remember the Govt admit most are “economic migrants” But Instead they have doubled down. This directly affects the housing crisis. It puts new arrivals in direct competition with with disability campaigners & others for housing resources. Why are they doing this?

Modern Ireland.... - An African man named Emmanuel Adeniji who was working as a care assistant, raped a 73-year-old Irish woman who was suffering from Alzheimers. He is suspected of raping 21 other elderly Irish women, the investigation is ongoing. - 4 Indian men were convicted of offences ranging from attempted child abduction to assaults on patients in hospital. They were all given suspended sentences. - A Brazilian man named Gabrial Fereira Motta Valladeres went on a stabbing spree in Dublin, he cut the throats of multiple Irish men. The case is due to be heard in the coming months, he is charged with multiple counts of attempted murder. - A Congolese man named Chico Makamda sexually assaulted a woman and despite being sentenced to 7 ½ years in prison, he was back on Irish streets after 3 years. - A man named Josef Puska murdered a young Irish teacher, Ashling Murphy. He stabbed her numerous times in the neck and throat - An Iraqi man named Yousef Palani killed two Irish men in Sligo, he decapitated one of them and left the head facing the door for family members to find. - An African woman drove a bus into a crowd of pedestrians and killed an elderly Irish man. She was not charged, it appears she has fled the country. - Somalian man Abdulasiis Ismael received a suspended sentence after he masturbated in the waiting room of a doctors surgery. - Entire criminal gangs from Nigeria (Black Axe) have relocated to Ireland because according to Gardaí, "Ireland is more lucrative." - Asylum seeker found planning terrorist attacks in Dublin. - Another Somalian man named Shando Alfa was given a suspended sentence after he attacked two young Irish girls with a broken glass bottle. - After a violent African criminal was shot dead by gardaí, Africans rampaged through Dublin, attacking men, women and children. - An African asylum seeker (who cannot be named) raped a 10-year-old Irish girl in Dublin. - Another asylum seeker raped a teenage Irish girl in Athlone. - Pakistani man Arslan Cheema received a suspended sentence after he sexually assaulted an Irish girl. - An Algerian man stabbed three young kids outside their school after his social welfare payment was cut off. He is in prison for attempted murder. - A Catholic priest was stabbed a Muslim teenager. - Angolan man Kasonga Mbuyi received a suspended sentence after he stabbed a tourist outside Dublin airport. - Nigerian man Austin Odebei was found with category one CSAM, he walked free from court with a suspended sentence. - Congolese man Bakuani Diasivi punched an 11-year-old child in the face, suspended sentence. - African man Stephan Obelngoa, while on bail for other offences, kidnapped a little blind girl. He took her from her mother, then picked her up and slammed her onto the ground. Suspended sentence, not even a day in prison for kidnapping and attacking a little blind girl. - Foreigner Beniamin Petre posted footage on social media stating his intention to kill Irish babies. He served a few weeks in prison (at his own request) then was set free back onto Irish streets. All of these incidents happened in the last 6 years, and this is just a sample of the total number of crimes committed by foreigners. Ireland used to be one of the safest and most predictable countries on Earth, but the higher the non-Irish population grows, the more dangerous Ireland becomes.

We first asked for the numbers of housing allocated to non citizens in Kilkenny back in 2019. One of the main criteria for social housing from the county council is "Local connection to the area". Given the obvious risk that these measures could also chill legitimate dissent and produce other serious antidemocratic consequences, the absence of robust safeguards for freedom of expression in the legislation points to its true intent. The reality is that stripping the public of free-speech rights ultimately hurts the very children it claims to protect. It is they who must then grow up in a society where questioning authority, challenging prevailing orthodoxies and exposing institutional failures is not without consequences. That’s not democracy. HERE IT IS A top politician for the Swedish right-wing party has now said it was a "mistake" that his government handed out citizenship to over 200.000 people, admitting that his government has now been voted out because of open borders. This comes after analysis shows that the massive number of votes for the left from people with a non European background was enough to stop the right from being reelected. The statistics is clear. 70% of voters within this group voted for the left. Because the election is so close, the votes from this group of voters that the right wing government gave citizenship to, was enough to prevent them from being reelected. Essentially, what happened in the Swedish election is that the right stopped themselves from winning.

At this point, there is only a 0.4 percentage-point difference between "the right" and the left in the Swedish parliamentary election. That is a difference of 32,000 votes in favour of the left. During the right-wing government, they handed out ~200k citizenships, predominantly to Middle Eastern and African immigrants who almost exclusively vote for the left. If they hadn’t done that, they would have won. There is a lesson to be learned here.

🚨 New figures reveal a dramatic change in Dublin’s social housing waiting list. Of 15,005 households waiting: 8,706 are Irish = 58% 6,299 are non-Irish = 42% Somali households alone account for 1,320 applicants = 8.8% of the entire list. The non-Irish share of accepted housing offers rose from 21.8% in 2023 to 32.9% in 2025. Approved Housing Bodies now provide almost 63% of all accepted offers. Yet Dublin City Council admits it does not monitor allocation outcomes or waiting times by nationality. It cannot tell us who waits longest, who refuses offers, why AHB nominations fail, or properly explain these enormous demographic changes. A housing system distributing thousands of homes should not operate without transparent data.

According to its latest accounts: Billionaire founder of Ebay, Pierre Omidyar, gave €127,312. €75,000 from Civitates, a Brussels-based pooled fund whose foundation partners include George Soros’s Open Society €74,907 from Rowan Trust, an Irish activist-led philanthropic fund (More on them soon) €18,612 from the Sunrise Project, an Australian-founded international climate campaigning network. €14,201 from St Stephen’s Green Trust, primarily supported by a Dutch family foundation The Irish Govt also supports Uplift, In 2021 and 2022, Uplift’s accounts recorded €150,000 from Rethink Ireland for the Far Right Observatory, for which Uplift acted as lead partner and legal entity. Uplift is entitled to campaign and protest. But when RTÉ presents it simply as a “campaign group”, viewers should also be told about the extensive international funding from billionaires and historical Govt co-funding behind its operations.

But where is the NGO campaigning to change the identity law that protects violent sexual offenders simply because they are international protection applicants? Where is the brave politician connecting the dots on how Jamey Carney was brutally murdered by her Jordanian asylum seeker husband in Kerry, Or Masuma Sohrabi who was practically beheaded by her Iranian asylum seeker husband in Galway... But no, Michael O'Leary, Ireland's single biggest individual tax payer, who employs 26k people across the EU.... He's the problem.
