What if your neighborhood had more fruit trees than houses?
That’s the idea behind Shutia Sanctuary.
The property sits on 23 acres in the hills above El Salvador’s coast. There are more than 100 mature fruit trees already growing on the property.
We want to keep the community small and make sure the natural character of the land stays a major part of what makes Shutia special.
Part of the land at Shutia Sanctuary was donated to @HouseofLifeMC to support the work they are doing in El Salvador.
As the community grows, we want it to have a positive impact beyond the people who live there. Supporting House of Life and their mission is one way we can help make that happen.

At Shutia Sanctuary, we're taking the time to truly understand the land before building on it. This week, our soil scientists are conducting soil sampling across the property to better understand its composition, fertility, and long term health.
These findings will help guide how we care for the land, where we plant, and how we create a community that works with nature instead of against it.
Every decision we make is rooted in stewardship because we believe that a thriving community begins beneath our feet.
This is just one of the many steps we're taking to build Shutia with intention, science, and a long term vision for regeneration.

Some of the most important work happening in El Salvador has nothing to do with headlines.
@HouseofLifeMC is building a place where girls and their babies can feel at home, be surrounded by people who care about them, and have the support and opportunities they need as they grow up.

Construction at the cabin in Tamanique is really starting to come together.
