I have a lot of cognitive dissonance. I think the HS football world has become almost unrecognizable from when I started this. I don't like all the transferring, I don't like the lack of community feel to some of these teams anymore and I feel like it's become a reflection of the college landscape. At the same time, even though I don't like it - I'm not sure kids are the ones that need to be paying the toll for it. That goes back to Nussmeier, Meredith and this case as well. I wish I had a better answer. I don't like any of it. I also don't like criticizing things I don't have a solution for either.. It just sucks, and that's all I got.

Heart of the Beast is arguably the best movie I have seen in recent memory. If you are a veteran, you need to see it. David Ayer has created a movie that poignantly talks about PTSD, and the bonds that heal scars. I had high expectations, and they were absolutely met and exceeded. An incredible movie and fitting tribute to all the Military Work Dogs who did so much during the Global War on Terror. May they all find peace away from war.
