Let kids be free
An 11-year-old works all summer, saves $900, buys himself an electric dirt bike and rides about 300 feet from home to go fishing.
Police stop him, fingerprint him, tow his bike and send him to court — with an officer telling him that failing to appear could result in a warrant.
When the machinery of the state comes down on a sixth-grader like he’s a hardened criminal, maybe we should stop and ask what kind of society we're building.

Florida law (§316.003(23)) defines an e-bike as having operable pedals and a motor under 750W. This is a 4,500W electric motorcycle with no pedals. On public roads, it requires motorcycle registration and a properly licensed rider.

Top 5 ain’t bad
Some takeaways from @MWBTCSummit:
1. @AndrewTilmann and the team did an amazing job, excited for next year
2. There are only two Bitcoiners I'd want to spend 8 hours in a Cybertruck with, and it's @AdamSimecka and @leemurdock
3. @JStrick85 is as great and supportive IRL as he is online
4. @StacingSats and @BTCBlackSheep are one of the coolest couples in Bitcoin
5. @pastorcoin is the most based pastor in North America, and perhaps the world
6. @HodlTarantula is one of the Bitcoin GOATs
7. @michelleweekley is super based, but you already knew that
8. @Bcuz21 is awesome and has even less tolerance for fiat than I do
9. It is never a bad day when you get to see @PaulaBTCEdge
10. @ColeStuart177 is one of the top 5 nicest Bitcoiners I've met
11. @AdrianCercenia is positively not an 80 IQ pleb - super smart
12. There are few people I enjoy catching up with more than my friend @MattCutler21
13. @AmmousMD is as nice as he is great at what he does
14. @Andrew_J_Howard DGAF what anyone thinks and everyone should tune in when he talks
15. @benepling is just a great guy, period
16. @buckethatbtc is always on the move doing something cool to promote Bitcoin and Bitcoin art to the world
