DoD’s announcement that it is restoring a forward presence in Lithuania & Estonia was necessary and positive. The best deterrence for the Baltics is U.S. military boots on the ground. Both countries built great facilities to support our troops. Latvia has an American Guard presence. All three countries cherish their freedoms and their alliance with the U.S.

Socialists do not believe in freedom for ordinary people; they believe in freedom for themselves and their fellow “elites.”
This becomes obvious once you look past their rhetoric and examine what they actually do.
They seek to concentrate power in their own hands and direct society from above because they believe they are morally superior and know better than everyone else.

There’s an asymmetry in our politics that I find increasingly frustrating.
I’m perfectly happy to condemn bigotry, extremism, and conspiratorial garbage when it comes from the right. I do it all the time. And I’m quite happy that three of the most prominent traffickers in such bile—Tucker Carlson, Marjorie Taylor Greene, and Thomas Massie—have been repudiated by the president and excised from the GOP.
But when similarly ugly behavior emerges on the left, getting Democrats to offer the same unequivocal condemnation can feel like pulling teeth.
Part of the problem is that the mainstream left has failed to articulate an affirmative political vision that extends beyond opposition to Trump—or to draw clear lines against its own extremes.
The result has been a sustained trend of ceding ground within the party to radical socialists and figures who have expressed sympathy for Islamist terrorists.

Republicans need to start calling our country what it is more.
A Republic.
Democrats spam the word democracy. This makes it easier to get the public to be okay with removing Republican safe guards.
If enough people don’t know the value of our republic and why the US is a republic, it will be much easier for democrats to make our republic less of a republic and more of a pure democracy.

The clip is wild for me personally. This roughly minute and a half is how my day started on 9/11.
My dad woke me up and I walked into my parents living room just as this clip begins.
This is one of the clips that’s most chilling to me. Still unaware it’s a terrorist attack, we see the second plane emerge and take aim at the south tower.

Hasan Piker says that mocking 9/11 is an American tradition: ''In our generation and younger, 9/11 has been memed into oblivion, right? Let's be real. There's a generational breakdown here where, like, the elderly are trying to make everyone talk about this in the way that they want to. It's obviously not going to happen.
For like the last two decades pretty much, uh, from Seth MacFarlane and Family Guy to, you know, numerous other cultural moments, people have talked about it. People have talked about it in not-so-serious ways.
So this — this forcible reverence coming from institutions on its 25th anniversary is — it's probably not going to take hold amongst the masses.
Like, there were people still burning alive in these towers and people were already making jokes.
The cultural attitudes about 9/11 being — like, 9/11 not being treated with, like, respect and dignity, I think has calcified in the collective conscious of Americans, right?
Not treating 9/11 as this singular moment that is worthy of the utmost reverence and respect is the American tradition. Right?''
