The average iq in the world is 100. The catholic church is in every country. It only makes sense.
Well this is awkward, Roman Catholics had a lower average IQ than most of the Protestant denominations surveyed.

😂 Cute. But "until" doesn't mean what you need it to mean. "He had no relations with her UNTIL she bore a son." - Matthew 1:25 Matthew is establishing that Joseph was NOT Jesus' biological father. The word "until" tells us what was true before Jesus' birth. It doesn't require the opposite afterward. Same Bible: "Michal the daughter of Saul had no child UNTIL the day of her death." - 2 Samuel 6:23 Did she start having babies after she died? 😂 Jesus says: "I am with you always, UNTIL the end of the age." - Matthew 28:20 Does Jesus abandon us afterward? Paul says Christ "must reign UNTIL he has put all his enemies under his feet." - 1 Corinthians 15:25 Does Christ stop reigning once His enemies are defeated? That's simply how "until" can work in biblical language. It guarantees the situation UP TO the stated point without necessarily asserting a change afterward. So Matthew 1:25 tells us something extremely important: Joseph did not father Jesus. It does NOT tell us: "And then Joseph and Mary had sex and produced a bunch of other children." You have to get that conclusion somewhere else. Also, I appreciate that AI apparently gave Mary and Joseph four children to settle a grammatical question the text itself doesn't settle. 😂 x.com/i/status/1999116207983…
**🔥 NEW SONG OUT NOW 🔥 “MARY’S OTHER CHILDREN” — Peter’s Barque** Some folks still insist Mary had other kids… as if two thousand years of Christians, East and West, just forgot how to read. So we made a whole slow-rap exposé on it. Biblical languages. Honor culture. The “brothers” problem. The vow hidden in the Annunciation. The until fallacy. All of it — with a beat. And here’s the kicker: Revelation 12 says the dragon wages war on the rest of her offspring… the ones who keep the commandments of God and bear witness to Jesus. That’s us. We’re Mary’s children — not because she had others by nature, but because she has us by grace. So if someone insists Mary had a whole houseful of extras… ask them why Scripture calls you her child, but never calls anyone else her son. 🎧 Listen now: Spotify → open.spotify.com/artist/07uv… Apple Music → music.apple.com/us/artist/pe… Amazon Music → music.amazon.com/artists/B0D… Website → petersbarque.online 💛 Support the project: Ko-fi → ko-fi.com/petersbarque 📱 Follow everywhere: IG → instagram.com/petersbarque TikTok → tiktok.com/@petersbarque X → x.com/petersbarque 🚀 Share it, save it, and send it to your favorite “Matthew-says-brothers” guy. What happens to trees that do not bear good fruit according to Christ? The tree analogy is actually pretty good. The problem is that Scripture takes it one step further than you do. 😉 Yes, good works are the fruit of grace. Catholics agree. We don't believe you staple enough fruit onto a dead tree until God is impressed and makes it alive. God gives the life. God gives the grace. God enables the fruit. But Scripture does NOT conclude: "Therefore fruit is merely evidence, and whether you actually bear it has no bearing on your salvation." Jesus says: "Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire." - Matthew 7:19 And: "Every branch IN ME that bears no fruit he takes away." - John 15:2 Notice: IN ME. The branch isn't trying to perform enough works to earn its way onto the Vine. It's already IN Christ. But Jesus then warns: "If a man does not abide in me, he is cast forth as a branch and withers; and the branches are gathered, thrown into the fire and burned." - John 15:6 So yes: ROOT -> GRACE. FRUIT -> GOOD WORKS. But if you refuse to bear fruit, Scripture doesn't say: "No problem. Fruit was only evidence anyway." It says: CUT OFF. And James doesn't merely say works "demonstrate" faith. He says Abraham's: "faith was active along with his works, and faith was COMPLETED by works." - James 2:22 Then James deliberately concludes: "You see that a man is JUSTIFIED BY WORKS and NOT BY FAITH ALONE." - James 2:24 That's the only place Scripture actually uses the phrase "faith alone" in discussing justification. And it puts "NOT BY" immediately in front of it. So Catholics happily agree with the first half of your analogy: Good works aren't the ROOT of God's grace. They're its FRUIT. Where we disagree is the extra, unbiblical step: "Therefore bearing fruit isn't actually necessary." Jesus rather explicitly says otherwise. The fruit doesn't CAUSE the tree to live. But a tree that refuses to bear fruit can die. That's why Jesus keeps telling us to ABIDE in Him. Grace first. Faith working through love. Fruit. Perseverance. All of it empowered by God. That's considerably closer to James than "faith alone, but not the kind of faith that remains alone." 😉

Amen

I love saying the St. Michael Prayer after mass. My parish does it and I love it. With that being said, if my bishop banned it, I would submit. People need to learn submission. Catholicism is not about rebellion.
Bishop Mark Beckman just banned the St. Michael Prayer after Mass—for “noble simplicity.” Same bishop who already banned the Traditional Latin Mass. Same spirit, on full display in this video.

Exactly....! The church will always receive on the hand. There are saints that bragged to their friends they got the privilege to receive on the hand.

If catholics haven't noticed the blatant lies from this channel. Take notice that this isn't a catholic channel. Smearing a bishops name even after we heard from Fr Ripperger himself. This channel openly attacks the catholic church. I'm calling for the ones operating this channel to be excomunicated.
NEW: Shawn Ryan shares LifeSite petition asking for the return of Fr. Ripperger after his bishop silenced him for a year. Ryan revealed that speaking with Ripperger brought him back to the Catholic faith. @ShawnRyan762 lifesitenews.com/news/shawn-…

I pray people understand what you're saying, but God must enlightened them first. The people that are obedient have the protection from our good shepherd. All others will be victims of the deceiver. It's a vicious cycle of rightly ordered justice.

I urge you to take this down. Unless you are direct communication with Fr. Ripperger and Bishop Golka, this is a misguided tweet that will sow unnecessary division in my diocese. My diocese, the one Bishop Golka tends to, is an incredibly faithful, doctrinal one. Spare us!

17 united nation countries currently carry out the death penalty for none violent offenses. It's a culture of death, in a world where Jesus offers the sacrament of reconciliation. These countries are very capable of doing work camps for these offenses, but the death penalty offers them a way to eliminate anyone opposing the standing government. These countries have the ability to offer alternatives, unlike 3rd other countries that have no other options of law. In lawles countries it's just self preservation. The church isn't in opposition to killing within lawless societies.
This represents the defiant rejection of God's mandate of the death penalty for murderers Sacred Scripture and Tradition state categorically that those who murder a person made in the image and likeness of God automatically lose the right to life The State has an absolute duty to impose the death penalty on murderers Yet again, the Holy See is preaching a false gospel

None can take, but they can't leave of their own free will. Theology sciences already proved we can abandon Christ.

What the pope said was completely accurate to what the church believes. As a tradition in these times we have means of mercy and conversion for these sinners. Respect for the dignity of the person, and God's desire to be with his creation far exceeds the deserved punishment. God's justice outweighs our own. The catholic church doesn't have a doctrine that says we can't have Capital punishment. This is unavoidable in some circumstances. It should always be avoided, and a stance within every heart.
Pope Leo: “If you’re pro-life, you can’t be for the death penalty.” The Bible: “Whoever strikes a man so that he dies shall be put to death.” -Exodus 21:12 The problem is that this statement treats abortion and the death penalty as though they are morally equivalent simply because both involve the taking of human life. They aren’t. Abortion is the intentional killing of an innocent human being. The death penalty is the punishment of a guilty human being for a grave crime. And Scripture makes that distinction. After the flood, God told Noah: “Whoever sheds the blood of man, by man shall his blood be shed, for God made man in his own image.” -Genesis 9:6 Notice the reasoning: human life is valuable because man is made in God’s image. That is precisely why murder deserves severe judgment. Then you get to the New Testament, and Paul says in Romans 13 that governing authorities are ordained by God and that the ruler “does not bear the sword in vain.” He calls that ruler “an avenger who carries out God’s wrath on the wrongdoer.” (Bible Gateway) The Bible doesn’t say government may never take a human life. It gives civil government authority to punish evil. Now, Christians can debate how that authority should be applied in a particular modern legal system. We can debate due process, wrongful convictions, proportionality, and whether a particular government is administering justice properly. But that’s a different question from whether capital punishment is inherently unbiblical. It isn’t. You can believe abortion is the murder of an innocent child and believe that the state has a God-given authority to execute a guilty murderer. That’s not a contradiction. The Bible distinguishes between the innocent being murdered and the guilty being judged. And that’s the distinction I think we need to preserve.
