I don't support any more consensus upgrades until Bitcoin can demonstrate the ability to fix bugs with previous upgrades. What happens when the next one has more unintended consequences? We're just told to accept it, sit down, and GFY.

Very wrong. Coinbase tells customers that the customers were hacked while knowing it’s false. Took us a few months, but external forensic firms, secret service were involved. We ultimately traced the hack to a specific Coinbase codebase, the same attacker, (likely Lazarus group, but we’re not 100% sure) repeatedly compromised Coinbase over many months, targeting many different user accounts.
Coinbase is expert at working the legal and political system to avoid accountability. Their default contracts with all customers forces arbitration. Their donations to various congressmen and Trump last election cycle means most DAs and DoJ won’t touch them.
Does that mean accountability is hopeless because of corruption even over black and white ongoing fraud? No, as long as there are people like me willing to face hundreds of thousands or millions in legal fees over malicious harassment, and who have the patience to find or wait for the prosecution.
It’s this simple: if Coinbase agrees not to harass or sue for me for it, I will release the full dossier with full detailed proof.

My book on the Jeffrey Epstein scandal, published in 2022, ended with the point that intelligence assets engaged in blackmail, like Epstein, are no longer needed (and thus became expendable) because the surveillance state can retrieve blackmail directly from your devices or plant incriminating material on them.
Four years later, they are just saying it out in the open.

A U.S.-based company allegedly has over a BILLION counterfeit shares.
The company had only 165 million authorized shares, but according to the data, abusive naked short sellers allegedly created counterfeit shares totaling more than 6X the company’s authorized share count.
The SEC has refused to meet with Next Bridge Hydrocarbons CEO Greg McCabe, while the MMTLP community has been demanding answers and transparency for nearly 4 years.
At this point, serious questions need to be asked about the SEC and FINRA’s handling of MMTLP and whether regulators failed to protect investors or hold the responsible parties accountable

Shielded Bitcoin is not a BIP or a Bitcoin consensus upgrade.
It locks real BTC on L1, then moves encrypted claims through a separate private accounting layer Bitcoin itself does not validate.
Worst case: a flaw in the peg, ZK circuit, trusted setup or initial inventory creates fake notes. Attackers redeem counterfeit claims, drain the real BTC vault, and honest users are left holding private IOUs backed by nothing.
Bitcoin’s 21M supply survives, but users get smoked. Until peg in/peg out is published, audited and battle tested:
Trust nothing.
Proof of Work is law...
Marketing is not.
