Meta just announced its new VR Glasses. Basically an Apple Vision Pro-like experience, but MUCH smaller and lighter.

This is the direction I want VR to go. Smaller, lighter, more comfortable, while keeping the full spatial computing experience.

Gotta start somewhere. I don’t think anyone is under the illusion this one thing will spike playercount and sustain that indefinitely. It’s not live content, it’s almost symbolic, in a way. New era, new plans, new promises, etc. The key will be delivery on whatever comes after that

The Next Chapter for Bungie:
▪️Studio understands player disappointments, must earn back trust
▪️Public outcry over Destiny 2 "made a real impact"
▪️"Bringing vaulted Destiny 2 campaigns, destinations, and raids back into the game, where they will be available to all Destiny 2 players"
▪️That will take time as changes since Beyond Light require updates to lighting, encounters, combatants, systems, etc
▪️First step to "lay the foundation" for new stories and games
▪️Evolve Marathon "beyond the genre constraints we placed on it", expand it to a deeper survival experience
▪️"We have to find a way back to making games that we want to play, but with you at the center"
