On Sunday, members of Cordova Community Baptist Church and Samaritan's Purse staff and volunteers came together to dedicate their new church building to the glory of God! This is the 17th church @SamaritansPurse has built for communities in rural Alaska! Between the Alaskan weather and remote locations, there are always challenges to finishing these construction projects on schedule. We praise God that this congregation now has a building that will last many years and will have a great impact on their ministry to the people of Cordova. During the dedication ceremony, Pastor Mike Glover said, “God is going to continually put us in a place where the only way this gets done is because God is at work in the process … We have no choice but to say, to God be the glory, because this could not have happened without God doing it!” Pray for Pastor Glover and the church members as they share the hope of Jesus Christ.

My father @BillyGraham preached in Manchester 65 years ago, but this was my first trip to this beautiful city. Even with all of its history, Manchester is vibrant—there are so many young people and over 90 languages spoken here. Tonight, 10,000+ people came out to @TheCoopLive to hear the Gospel. I told the crowd that we each have a date with death—we’re all going to have to stand before God. We praise Him that hundreds responded to the invitation to repent and receive Jesus Christ by faith. Thanks to all of the churches, pastors, and volunteers who made this night possible.
