How many members of Congress, federal judges, governors, attorneys general, and other federal and state leaders—Rs and Ds alike—have submitted home-loan applications with falsehoods in them? Too many, I think, to make felons of them all.

Abby Phillip: “What should happen now to stop this from your perspective as a Republican?” Scott Jennings: “I think the first question you have to ask is, why did it happen? I don't think it happened because of guns. I think it happened because somebody who was clearly suffering from severe mental illness had — ” Abby Phillip: “ — had access to weapons that would allow them to carry out a terrible shooting.” Scott Jennings: “Well, and — and the mental illness was encouraged.” Jeff Gardere: “What about people who don’t have mental illness?” Scott Jennings: “I don't think you could tip-toe around this issue. And when you look at the messages that were written, in some of the materials and on the weapons that we've seen, I mean, this person obviously was in a dark, dark place.” Bakari Sellers: “Mental illness is a cop-out for today… I love how the GOP believes that — that’s God’s only party, but you have people of faith on both sides… What happens after the prayers is that there’s another sh00ting. The problem is it’s the d*mn g*ns.”

I love the reverse causality notion on the left that you can eliminate words and images you find troublesome and it will repair the reality they emerged from. This is "step on a crack, break your mother's back" level reasoning. Yet it saturates universities.

It a belief in the magic Power of Names. Call Trump evil and bang! he's evil. Refuse to hear the word 'illegal' and bang! all illegal aliens are now immigrants. This is most common in jobs relating to law, journalism, advertising, & politics. The thing is the name is the thing.

In addition to SCOTUS pretending we have a 'living Constitution', Judge Haines evidently believes we have 'living laws' that doesn't mean what it says, it means whatever a judge say it should mean. Humpty Dumpty rules for now. Next comes the Red Queen.

Governor Huchul is a crass, vulgar woman. Professionals are able to make a point without words like 'bullshit.' Second point: it's not OK to shove public servants around when they are working (even for 'important' elected officials shoving peon employees).

Sen. Booker's ranting is so frequently divorced from reality (like this rant about Sen. Padilla's misbehavior) that I don't take him seriously on any topic.

She's part of the reason that the antifa rioters, druggies, and shoplifters aren't worried about being arrested for their crimes. Just another leftist who whines about Trump to distract us from her failure to adequately do her job.

People deserve respect (even public servants) until they do disrespectful things. Sen. Padilla acted in a disruptive manner; getting thrown out of the meeting was appropriate. Elected government employees should be held to a higher standard of propriety, not a lower standard.
