Daniel 2 and the Revived Roman Empire: This is important to understanding that Daniel 9:27 is a future event. It occurs after the Rapture, 2 Thessalonians 2:7,and after the the Ezekiel 38 war against Russia, Turkey, Iran, Libya, and Sudan.

How the pieces connect in this reading Daniel 2 presents four successive Gentile kingdoms, with the fourth (Rome) continuing in a later divided form—the feet of iron mixed with clay. Many futurist interpreters identify those feet and ten toes with a final confederation of nations (often called a Revived Roman Empire) out of which the “prince who is to come” arises (Daniel 9:27).In that view:The 70th week of Daniel 9 is still future.
It begins after the Rapture (the restrainer removed, 2 Thessalonians 2:7) and after the Ezekiel 38 invasion (commonly identified with a coalition including Russia, Turkey, Iran, Libya, and Sudan).
A seven-year covenant is confirmed with “many” (usually understood with regard to Israel).
At the midpoint the covenant is broken; the last 3½ years (“time, times, and half a time”) become the period of intense oppression, persecution, and war.
The period ends with Armageddon and the stone that strikes the statue—the establishment of God’s everlasting kingdom.
The first 3½ years are often described as a time of relative (though deceptive) peace or “beginning of sorrows”; the second half is the Great Tribulation.

The NGOs end up increasing the number of homeless people they manage, because that’s the only way to increase their revenue! Incentives drive outcomes.
“Homeless” is a propaganda word used to describe people on the street who are mentally ill or severely addicted to drugs. The word implies that this is someone who fell a little behind on their mortgage payment and they’re one job offer away from getting back on their feet, which is obviously false if you’ve ever tried talking to a “homeless” person in SF, LA, NY, Austin or anywhere else.
The honest reality is that we need to bring back asylums for extreme mental illness or drug addiction for those who are a serious danger to themselves or others.
Incentives determine outcomes
If you give an NGO a certain number of dollars per homeless person, they will never solve homelessness
SF spends more than $1b/yr (up 5x) and the homeless population has only grown

BREAKING: 🚨 The US Treasury will buy back up to $6 billion of 20- to 30-year bonds tomorrow.
The operation runs 1:40-2:00 p.m. ET and settles Friday.
This is not a new program.
Treasury restarted regular buybacks in May 2024 to improve liquidity in off-the-run bonds after years of only tiny test operations.
On Aug. 19, it raised the long-end cap from $2 billion to at least $4 billion through Nov. 4 after dealers kept offering far more paper than Treasury would take.
At the same time, the 30-year yield is near 5.4%, up about +14% from a year ago.
Treasury says the goal is liquidity support, not setting the price of bonds.
Dealers sell older, harder-to-trade issues so they can keep making markets in new auctions.
On Aug. 18, dealers offered $19.9 billion into a $2 billion 20- to 30-year window.
On Sept. 10, they offered $10.5 billion into a $6 billion 10- to 20-year window.
Treasury took $5.2 billion.
Treasury has now bought back nearly $500 billion across more than 150 operations.
About $300 billion of that was short-dated cash-management paper under two years.
Marketable Treasuries outstanding are about $32 trillion.
Total US debt is above $40 trillion.
A $6 billion buyback cannot cap a $40 trillion debt market.
