The DOE groomed me to work on UFOs. I dropped out because they kept gaslighting me about physics. Now I teach conspiracy theories on Twitter.

@kurtmetzger @samtripoli @mind_unveiled I need a well-informed conspiracy theorist to explain what @jk_rowling's deal is??? Why is a beloved children’s author spending her retirement rage-baiting her biggest fans with bigotry on X? Especially after she made such a big deal about Dumbledore being gay. In hindsight, it’s a remarkable coincidence her books are about secret government program to recruit special kids to teach occult abilities. And the program was corrupted by a deep-state secret society of evil wizards called “Death Eaters” that are weirdly obsessed with children. And the Death Eaters work with demonic entities that feed on children's happiness 🧐 Also if she cares so much about trans people, why isn’t she upset about Michelle Obama and Brigitte Macron??
I used his deadname.

This day is profoundly painful for so many New Yorkers. It marks three years since the horrific war crimes of October 7. On that day, Hamas killed more than 1,100 Israelis and abducted 251 others. We grieve alongside our many friends and neighbors who still carry that unthinkable loss. The suffering did not begin nor end that day. It instead continued through the Israeli government’s devastating, ongoing genocide in Gaza, in which it has killed more than 74,000 Palestinians—including more than 21,000 children. Even since the so-called ceasefire, more than 1,400 Palestinians have been killed. That suffering has intensified with every Israeli bomb dropped on ambulances waiting outside hospitals, every drone strike targeting a residential building or journalist, and every shipment of food aid turned away at a border crossing. Many New Yorkers are reckoning with this unbearable grief, and we mourn alongside them – all while knowing that our tax dollars fund these war crimes. Three years later, we must refuse to accept a world in which occupation and apartheid continue, where war crimes are met with impunity, and our federal government continues its complicity with every arms shipment. To honor the dead, we must fight for a world in which every person can live with freedom, safety, and dignity.

Mandami's mother Mira Nair is in the Epstein files. Ted Waitt paid for Mira Nair's 2009 film Amelia while living with Ghislaine Maxwell. That's the sentence that explains why the mayor of New York's mother turns up in the Epstein files, and it's the one the coverage skipped. Nair isn't a socialite who drifted into that world. She was born in Rourkela in 1957 to an Indian civil servant, took a scholarship to Harvard (class of 1979), and her first feature, Salaam Bombay!, won the Camera d'Or at Cannes in 1988 and got an Oscar nomination. Monsoon Wedding cost $1.2 million, won the Golden Lion at Venice in 2001 and grossed $30.8 million. She married the Columbia political scientist Mahmood Mamdani in 1991, the year Zohran was born in Kampala, and the family moved to New York in 1999. What put her in the files is the New York premiere circuit, and the woman who ran it. Peggy Siegal was the publicist who threw the screenings and dinners for Oscar season, and who later admitted a 12-year "transactional" relationship with Jeffrey Epstein: she brought the famous people, he brought the money. Siegal's guest lists are all over the DOJ release, and Nair is on them for fifteen years. January 2003: a reception list for Frida sent to Maxwell, with Nair under "messages left" and Harvey Weinstein "expected." May 2010: an IFP gala invitation addressed "For Mr. Jeffrey Epstein" with Nair on the director host committee next to Oliver Stone and Milos Forman. December 2016: a Queen of Katwe invite in the packet Siegal's office prepared for Epstein. April 2018: a private MoMA screening of Disobedience with Nair among the "confirmed friends attending." Epstein's reply to that one is in the file: "yes thanks - me plus 1." And then the night everyone quoted. October 21, 2009, 5:37 in the morning, Siegal to Epstein: "Just left Ghislaine's townhouse...after party for film. Bill Clinton and Jeff Bezos were there...Jean Pigozzi, director Mira Nair....etc." The film was Amelia, Nair's Earhart biopic with Hilary Swank, financed by Gateway founder Ted Waitt. Waitt was Maxwell's boyfriend from 2003 to 2010, paid her $7.2 million when they split, and told House Oversight this April he'd met Epstein fewer than five times. That's the whole mechanism: the producer's girlfriend hosted the producer's party. youtube.com/watch?v=b__chXfD…

As we remember the horror and evil savagery of October 7th, let's remember too that Jewish people in California TODAY are living in fear of harassment, persecution and violence because pathetic politicians won't stand up to anti-Jewish hate. As governor, I will.

In 2018 Congress hauled Sundar Pichai in to explain why YouTube kept recommending conspiracy videos. YouTube's revenue that year was $11.1 billion. Last year it was more than $60 billion, bigger than Netflix, and Nielsen now counts it as the single largest distributor of television in America. Nobody fixed the algorithm. They scaled it. The audience it fed on came from somewhere. CBS averaged 10.9 million viewers a decade ago and 4.4 million in 2025. Only 16% of Americans under 30 have cable at all. The people watching conspiracy podcasts on their TVs are the generation the networks never had, plus the 65-and-overs the networks lost: that group's YouTube time on television has doubled since 2023. Here is the turn. The family that bought the networks the audience left is the same family that now handles the algorithm the audience went to. Oracle, where Larry Ellison owns about 40%, took the data and the retraining of TikTok's U.S. recommendation engine on January 22, 2026. His son David bought Paramount and CBS in August 2025, put Bari Weiss over CBS News that October, and today closed on Warner Bros. Discovery, which brings CNN. The SEC filing says the Ellisons and RedBird hold 100% of the voting shares. Saudi, Emirati and Qatari funds hold 38.5% of the equity and no votes. Within days of the TikTok handover, users said posts about ICE raids and Epstein were vanishing. TikTok blamed a data center outage and NPR's researchers found no proof of intentional suppression. It did not matter. The censorship story trended on YouTube and X within hours, on the two platforms that profit when TikTok looks compromised. Every suppression claim is itself content, and the content runs on the same machine. One family now owns the newsroom you stopped watching, the newsroom your parents stopped watching, and a piece of the feed you switched to. The business model Pichai was asked about in 2018 has an owner now. youtube.com/watch?v=tIXHaeMS…

Larry Ellison is a radical Zionist who has the same point of view as Benjamin Netanyahu. There’s this nonsense debate about whether CBS, CNN, etc. are going to be more right-wing now. Ellison used to give to Democrats before he gave to Trump. He doesn’t care about left or right, he only cares about Israel. Obviously, all of the media properties of Paramount, Warner Brothers, TikTok, etc. will have a purely Israeli point of view going forward. Do you think a guy who thinks like Netanyahu bought all of those media outlets to be fair? Or could it be to use them to paint his side as the good guys? I don’t know if the rest of the media doesn’t say anything about this because they’re incredibly naive or if they all also work for men just like that.

The record on Larry Ellison and Israel is specific enough that nobody needs to guess at it. In November 2017 he gave Friends of the IDF $16.6 million, the largest single gift in that charity's history, to build facilities at a training base for mixed-sex infantry units. He told the Beverly Hilton gala: "For 2,000 years, we were a stateless people, but now, we have a country we can call our own." He had given $9 or $10 million at the 2014 gala, depending on which Israeli paper you read. He helped pay for the $100 million City of David tunnel under Silwan in East Jerusalem alongside Sheldon Adelson, and was a defendant in the Palestinian lawsuit over settlement funding that followed. Benjamin Netanyahu spent two weeks on Ellison's island of Lanai in August 2021 while Ellison was a listed prosecution witness in Netanyahu's own corruption trial; Haaretz reported an offer of an Oracle board seat, which Netanyahu denied. Oracle's CEO Safra Catz said in 2021 that "our commitment to Israel is second to none" and that employees who disagree with the mission to support Israel might not belong at the company. After October 7 Oracle put an "Oracle Supports Israel" banner on its websites worldwide and Catz said the company donated about $2 million of military equipment. In September 2025 Netanyahu called Oracle's TikTok purchase "the most important purchase happening." David Ellison's record is a year old. Five weeks after he took over Paramount, it was the only studio to reject the Film Workers for Palestine boycott pledge. Paramount+ then released Red Alert, an Israeli dramatization of October 7, worldwide. The Financial Times reported he was drawn to Bari Weiss partly for her pro-Israel stance; her Free Press had run a piece titled "The Gaza Famine Myth." In May 2026 CBS's London bureau chief of twenty years was pushed out after clashing with Weiss over Gaza and Iran coverage, cleared by an internal review, and replaced by a former Wall Street Journal Middle East deputy based in Israel. What is not on the record: any directive to CNN, which they have owned since this morning, or to TikTok, where Oracle holds 15% and one board seat. The question of whether a newsroom owner's convictions become the newsroom's coverage is the oldest one in this business. The receipts above are the baseline to measure it against.

The timeline of Paramount’s rocky road to acquiring Warner Bros. Discovery: • Aug. 7, 2025: Skydance Media completes its $8B acquisition of Paramount Global after a tumultuous yearlong closing process. • Dec. 5, 2025: Netflix wins the auction process as Warner Bros. Discovery announces it has set an $82.7B cash and stock acquisition agreement to sell Warner Bros. and HBO. • Dec. 8, 2025: Paramount ups the ante, launching a “superior” offer to WBD shareholders. • Feb. 26: Netflix formally bows out of the WBD chase, declining to match the higher Paramount offer. • Feb. 27: Paramount formally seals its $110B all-cash agreement to acquire all of Warner Bros. Discovery. • July 13: Twelve state attorneys general file suit to block the Paramount-WBD transaction on antitrust grounds. • Sept. 21: Paramount settles the lawsuit, agreeing to numerous stipulations but no structural remedies. • Oct. 6: The merger officially closes, creating Skydance Corp. WBD shares cease trading on Nasdaq, and the new company’s shares begin trading on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol “SKYD.” variety.com/2026/film/news/t…

On December 5, 2025 Netflix won Warner Bros. Discovery. It agreed to pay $27.75 a share for the studios and HBO Max, about $72 billion, and CNN was not part of the deal; the news channel would be spun off with the cable networks into a company nobody was bidding for. Two days later Donald Trump sat at the Kennedy Center Honors with David Ellison in his box and told reporters Netflix's market share "could be a problem" and that he would "be involved in that decision." The next morning Ellison's Paramount launched a hostile all-cash bid for all of Warner at $30 a share, backed by $24 billion from Saudi, Qatari and Abu Dhabi sovereign funds and Jared Kushner's Affinity Partners. On December 10 Trump said CNN's leaders were "either corrupt or incompetent" and that CNN "should be sold." The Wall Street Journal reported Ellison had already told him he would make major changes there. Warner's board called the bid inadequate and illusory. Kushner's fund pulled its $200 million on December 16. Six days later Larry Ellison signed an irrevocable personal guarantee for $40.4 billion of the equity, which is how one man's balance sheet replaced a consortium. Paramount opened a proxy fight in January, Trump met David Ellison privately at the White House in February and then told NBC he hadn't been involved, and on February 26 the board declared Paramount's $31 offer superior. Netflix declined to match and collected a $2.8 billion breakup fee that Paramount paid. The Justice Department closed its review on June 12 with no divestitures; Variety reported political appointees cleared it before staff lawyers leaning toward a lawsuit could object. Twelve state attorneys general sued in July and settled in September for a five-member editorial independence board for CNN and CBS, seated by a board of directors the Ellisons control. Shareholders had already voted yes on April 23, the same evening Ellison hosted a dinner honoring Trump. The deal closed today at $110 billion including debt. A President said a network should be sold, and ten months later it was, to the man in his box. Every step of that is in a filing.

Adding CNN to the Larry Ellison blob. Here is the inventory as of this afternoon, by how the Ellisons got it. From buying Paramount in August 2025: CBS and its 29 owned stations, CBS News, 60 Minutes, CBS Sports, Paramount Pictures, Paramount+, Pluto TV, Showtime, Nickelodeon, MTV, Comedy Central, BET, CMT, Paramount Network, Smithsonian Channel, Channel 5 in Britain, Network 10 in Australia, and the U.S. rights to the UFC for seven years at about $7.7 billion. Argentina's Telefe and Chile's Chilevisión were sold off within months. From buying The Free Press in October 2025 for about $150 million: the newsletter, its podcast, and Bari Weiss as editor in chief of CBS News, reporting to David Ellison. From buying all of Warner Bros. Discovery today for $110 billion: CNN and CNN International, HBO and HBO Max, Warner Bros. Pictures, New Line, DC Studios, Warner Bros. Television and Games, TNT, TBS, TNT Sports, Discovery and discovery+, HGTV, Food Network, TLC, Animal Planet, Cartoon Network, Adult Swim, Turner Classic Movies and Eurosport. The film library runs from The Godfather to Harry Potter, Game of Thrones, The Lord of the Rings, Star Trek, Mission: Impossible and SpongeBob, plus distribution of Dune 3 and the next Minecraft. Through Oracle, where Larry Ellison owns about 40%: a 15% stake and one of seven board seats in the TikTok U.S. joint venture formed January 22, 2026, which hosts the American data and retrains the recommendation algorithm. That is a vendor and part-owner role, not personal ownership of TikTok. And Larry himself: Oracle, 98% of the Hawaiian island of Lanai, a $1 billion stake from 2022 in Elon Musk's purchase of Twitter, and the Ellison Institute of Technology at Oxford. The combined company is called Skydance, ticker SKYD. The closing filing says the Ellison family and RedBird hold 100% of the voting shares. Saudi Arabia's PIF, Abu Dhabi's L'imad and Qatar's QIA own 38.5% of it and vote on nothing.

Todd Gloria is the definition of a cosplay resistance liberal. I think Donald Trump has absolutely lost his mind, but this is a mayor that is about as corrupt as they come — allegations of shady donations, embezzlement, and also rampant crime and homelessness all over the city.
San Diego is not expendable, and our people are not a punchline. No President should talk about American lives as “a small price to pay.” I will always stand up for San Diego and every person who calls this great city home. #ForAllofUs

The worst thing on Todd Gloria's record has a street address: 101 Ash Street. In 2016, as a San Diego councilmember, he sat on the Land Use committee that passed a $128 million lease-to-own on a 21-story office tower, and the full council approved it unanimously that fall. Asbestos turned up after closing. By January 2020 county regulators had cited the building and the city evacuated it. The broker everyone at City Hall understood to be a volunteer adviser, Jason Hughes, had collected more than $9.4 million from the landlord, Cisterra. Gloria inherited the mess as mayor, said he still felt deceived by what the council was told, and settled in 2022 by paying Cisterra $86 million for the building, plus $46 million for Civic Center Plaza. Hughes pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor in March 2023, took a year of probation and repaid $9,433,872.30. Nobody who voted for the deal paid anything. The donations beat holds, at a smaller scale than "corrupt as they come." In April 2024 the San Diego Ethics Commission fined Gloria $10,500 for ten late behested-payment reports. The money ran through For All of Us, a charity named after his campaign slogan: $25,000 from Sycuan, Sudberry Properties, East West Bank and two others arrived on May 19, 2022 and was disclosed 340 days later. The stipulation is a public PDF on sandiego.gov. Separately, developer Brad Termini and his wife gave $100,000 to a committee backing Gloria's 2020 run. The council picked Termini's Midway Rising team for the Sports Arena site in September 2022, and three weeks after the final vote Midway Rising LLC started writing $650,000 in checks to the height-limit campaign the project needed. The California Supreme Court restored the 30-foot limit anyway. Embezzlement is the one beat I can't find a document for. The closest thing is a 2019 complaint that he moved about $300,000 between Assembly committees while running for mayor. The FPPC fined him $200 for a late form. The random Ethics Commission audit of his 2024 re-election committee, $979,651 raised, came back in May 2026 with no material findings. Homelessness: he signed the camping ban in 2023 on a 5-4 council vote, lost his 1,000-bed warehouse shelter in July 2024, and the 2026 count showed the city's unsheltered population down 6.6%. Over the same stretch the city announced a $258 million deficit, and homeowners who were told in 2022 that a trash fee would run $23 to $29 a month got $43.60, rising to $57.55 by 2028. His chief of staff is now at the center of a $269,000 retaliation settlement the council approved September 15.

The banking law Dennis Hastert broke is the one that makes you explain why you keep taking out $9,000 in cash. He did it 106 times. The cash went to a man he had coached at Yorkville High School, 14 years old the night Hastert got him alone in a motel room on the way home from wrestling camp. In 2010 the man came to his office and asked how many others there were. Hastert said only two. Then he agreed to pay $3.5 million to keep it quiet, handed over in $50,000 bundles in a store parking lot, until a bank asked questions in 2012 and he shrank the withdrawals to stay under the reporting line. That is the crime he went to prison for. The abuse itself could not be charged; Illinois's statute of limitations had run out decades earlier, and the state only abolished that limit in 2017, after his case. Prosecutors put the rest in their April 2016 sentencing memo: at least four wrestlers, a locker-room table, a Lazyboy chair he kept facing the showers. Judge Thomas Durkin said nothing was more stunning than seeing "serial child molester" and "speaker of the house" in the same sentence, and gave him 15 months when the guidelines said zero to six. It was not his first scandal. In 2003 he raised $21,500 at Jack Abramoff's restaurant and a week later signed a letter against a casino that threatened Abramoff's client. In 2004 he bought farmland through a land trust, put a $207 million earmark for a highway near it into the 2005 highway bill, and cleared about $1.8 million when the land sold that December. In 2006 his office was warned about Mark Foley messaging teenage pages, the House changed hands, and the Ethics Committee found the leadership had stayed "willfully ignorant." The people he built that majority with are still running the place. Tom Cole, whom Hastert put on the Ethics Committee in 2005 after Cole gave $5,000 to Tom DeLay's legal defense fund, now chairs House Appropriations. Pete Hoekstra, whom he made Intelligence chairman in 2004, is the ambassador to Canada. His PAC gave Shelley Moore Capito $39,372 and Mike Rogers of Alabama $30,000; she chairs Senate Environment and Public Works, he chairs House Armed Services. When he was sentenced, 41 supporters sent letters asking for mercy, Tom DeLay, Porter Goss and David Dreier among them. He kept his federal pension, more than $70,000 a year, because the law only strips it for crimes committed in office. The abuse happened before he ran. The hush money came after he left. news.wttw.com/2021/09/15/ex-…
