I won’t be lectured on inflating experiences by someone who exaggerated her CIA role and is supporting Abdul, who famously has never seen a patient but has too big of an ego to stop introducing himself as “doctor.”
The reality is that I worked at Cars and Concepts — an auto assembly line that has since closed down because YOUR party ships jobs to China.

There is no excuse for inflating your experiences or overstating what you've done, even in a tough campaign.
New reporting shows that @MikeRogersForMI’s claim that he "built the Chrysler Lebaron on the assembly line" is not true. Michigan's auto workers are the best in the world, and stretching the truth to associate yourself with their experience is exactly why Michiganders can't stand politicians.
But this is now part of a repeated trend. Last month, Mike claimed that he “saw Osama bin Laden's dead body.” That is easily disprovable. He has further claimed that he "hunted terrorists." That is just straight false. Mike served in the FBI from 1989-1994, where he worked on domestic crime. He was in Congress on 9/11 and any hunting of terrorists he did during the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq were from the safety of his Capitol Hill office.
Any insinuation otherwise is an insult to the men and women in the military and intelligence community who carried out dangerous missions and risked their lives to go after terrorists. michiganadvance.com/2026/09/…

Fact check: Hasan Piker is not @AbdulElSayed’s spokesman, and El-Sayed did condemn the statement, saying it was “dumb” and “America didn’t deserve 9/11.” Piker also walked back the statement.

UNEARTHED: Michigan's Democratic Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed once called for repealing a state law that made it a felony to have sex without disclosing your HIV status to your partner.
As he ran for governor in 2018, El-Sayed ripped the law as 'hateful' and 'discriminatory,' pushing to decriminalize knowingly exposing a sexual partner to HIV or AIDS. The law at the time carried up to four years in prison.
Now El-Sayed is locked in a critical midterm battle against Republican Mike Rogers for a Senate seat Democrats must hold to have any shot at retaking the chamber. His campaign says he supports the bipartisan 2019 reform that narrowed the felony's scope — but his original position went further, calling for full repeal of HIV criminalization laws entirely.
