Well, your claim assumes quite a bit, including these players submitting an inaccurate scorecard. Even when playing in this format, since the score and round are an official round for cap, if you pick up, you must record the score you are likely to have achieved. In other words, you assume that Dan is a vanity, where he and 3 other players are equal losers, in this regard…while playing a @USGA event. Now, unless Dan or the USGA say otherwise, that there were special rules, and Dan was not submitting an official round, for a legitimate reason, well….I would suggest that you’re just yelling on yourself, here.

I don’t understand those saying it isn’t a 65. It’s a best-ball event. The hole-by-hole, for him and his partner, is posted on-line; you can see that Dan shot a gross 65. Do people not know what a fourball is, while talking shit?

Man, for a guy that has been around, he sure didn’t read that one right. First, it’s the number. Not exactly the most welcoming move, regardless of “tradition”. This is especially so, when you’re on the tail end of your career, maybe 2 yrs. left of meaningful play. With the #1 pick, no doubt. Chayka fucked that up, and should have addressed it, in signing him; let the kid have the number. Same tonight; that’s on Hiller and Matthews. The kid was the #1 Pick, having his Rookie Lap, which only happens once. Sure, it’s 1 thing, hopefully in a long career of firsts and accolades. Regardless, he knows better, it does mean something and he disrespects “tradition”, while insisting on it for himself. It’s not a good look and I don’t give a shit about superstitions, if he thinks he’s above the team. Now everyone is afraid to say anything, because then it will just be the same old cries from losers; “TML and the media are running another player out of town”, “this is why no one wants to play in Toronto”, etc. It’s Game 1 and Bob thinks he’s playing for the CBJ again, or something. This isn’t it (the games), or the place. The fans are unforgiving, right or wrong, and he’s been around long enough to understand. Why are goalies so fucked? Seriously.

Does your employer approve of you putting a pride flag in your signature? What I think would be appropriate, permitted, etc., is irrelevant. If I am an employer (which I am), I have every right to tell an employee what can and cannot be in their signature. In fact, to remove all doubt, we have policies and standardized signatures, for this purpose. TD is a very large corporate employer and most certainly has a rigid policy, to ensure universal conformity, branding, etc. Like I said. If you want to control management prerogatives, use email signatures, etc., to communicate on issues of your choosing, start your own business.

You criticize this person, talking about the community? You refuse to stand up for your Constituents. You won an election off the back of @erinotoole. I am positive he regrets ever agreeing to back you. You are the worst MP the people of Durham have ever seen (and that comes with the useless Colin Carrie having represented people in Oshawa). I am born and raised in Durham and you do not speak for the people; you have only spoken for yourself and your interests (because you have always wanted someone else’s job). You misrepresent what the people of Durham care for. To this, while your Constituents lose their jobs, homes and families, your BFF rubs his hands, in glee. Yet, not once, have you stuck up for them. Instead, you cozy up to those who serve unlawful , foreign, interests. Puffing out your chest, fake bravado, talking about Carney, while you do the bidding of those who would see your Constituents destitute, isn’t “speaking for the community”; you’re a traitor, who only cares about your political ambitions, at the expense of Canadians (and very immediately, the residents of Durham). Shameful. Canadians, and certainly the residents of Durham, deserve better.

I’m not holding my breath on Dreger, or any “insider”. When has any one of them gotten anything right? I remember him saying, not long ago, after a big trade, etc. happened, he then tweets about how he was aware of moves for weeks. I mean, you’re not much of an “insider”, if you’re just giving us the AI summary, of what we already know occurred. Furthermore, when you are consistently getting it wrong, you should lose the right to call yourself an “insider”, or to somehow claim, you’ve been in the know for weeks. All these “insiders” do, nowadays, is share each others rumours, have each other on their pods, shows, whatever, monetizing their half-baked nonsense. Even worse, some of those guys they “share” airwaves with, etc., have gone out of their way with rumours, etc., only to be found to be complete cockups, creating discord and ruining relationships, etc. (ahem…Seravalli comes to mind). Let’s also not forget, Dregs, himself, acting as Marner’s mouthpiece, over his last year+ at TML, while he was breaching his Contract with the Leafs, etc. It makes you wonder how much he was helping his boy Mitchy and Daddy-Paulie, putting the screws to TML.

Fuck Marner. Making this about that turncoat, is some wild nonsense. If Mitchy could produce in Toronto, when it mattered, he would have received just under what Matthews gets. Looking to what he signed in VGK, you don’t have to be a rocket scientist to figure out, he wanted out, because he didn’t like being held to account. Now? He plays in the desert and they only feign being hockey fans, because…it’s something, in a place that has had nothing, forever, aside from the obvious. Good riddance to anyone that runs away from being in the spotlight, with an opportunity to be a legend. Mitchy will be forgotten, barely a footnote in hockey.

Cap is going up. At the end of the day, it may even out, in the end. They save this year, pay extra in the middle. At the end? Who’s to say what Knies would cost, which is all relative at that point, given cap increase. Marchenko has way more upside, offensively. The question is whether losing the physicality will be a worthwhile tradeoff. The Leafs have looked, for years, for a big, talented A1, power forward. They had it and traded it away, presumably for the upside. You have to think something else was going on, diminishing return with Knies and the thought that they could find another, guys like Cowan coming up, etc. We shall see.

The @DetroitRedWings. Who knows what the Yzerplan was, at this point. Regardless, it failed, miserably. They are, in my opinion, worse off than most teams in full rebuild mode. That puts them at least 5 yrs. out from contending (being a legit playoffs team). Add that to the current 10+ yrs. And people thought other fanbases have it bad; at least those other teams have/have had “hope”.

This video is wild. The outright lies by this lady, are astonishing. Even worse, there are dumber people out there, who believe her shit, which she monetizes. Exhibit “♾️” to why this country is such a mess, while folks like Michelle cry “division” (as she is the one pursuing it, as a matter of victim-class politics). She was fired by her Constituents, for good reason, so now it’s onto grifting, lying (not new for her), to find $$$ amongst the dumbest of Canadians; the low IQ, victim-class. For the record, Carney has not given a PENNY to Hamas. We, our Govt., has committed $100 million, to humanitarian aid, security and infrastructure, to the very specific exclusion of Hamas; to help Palestinians survive, rebuild and get rid of Hamas. Michelle is a lying, POS, and no one should believe her shitty anecdotes, either. She believes it creates rapport. She has no interest in connecting with Canadians, unless it is monetized; she said as much this past Summer, calling Canadians, voters, her Constituents, “arrogant” (because they disagreed with her, fired her). She hates democracy, and even more so, Canadian voters.

Nothing like throwing TML under the bus, to smooth it over with Knies. Hahahaha. I mean, we don’t know what Knies was told over the past few weeks, but it doesn’t help anyone (except CLB), by saying that. Maybe I’m wrong and Knies was in the loop, the entire time. Regardless, it’s over. We pretty much know Marchenko wanted out, but Knies has been rather unknown on that front. I can’t see him being “elated” by going from TML to CLB, but nothing is perfect, here. Big changes in store, for both players…that’s for sure.

It’s actually embarrassing, where the top-2 players in the world, seem to have such a prickly demeanour, with the media. Why? Scottie loves to play himself off, as laid back, all about his place in the larger world, blah, blah, blah. Yet, he gets his back up, whenever he is asked a relevant, very good, question. It’s unbecoming and shows a continuing disrespect for golf media, but also, how that connects with the fans.

Ummmm…did they prove they can play team golf? I would say, the exact opposite. They proved that they can play as individuals, and continue to struggle to play as a team. This time, they were able to overcome. I highly doubt that would be the case, if the Ryder Cup. In other words, enjoy the win. However, this lays bare, some major, continuing problems, for Team USA, in team golf.

When is she supposed to ask him about it? Scottie watches too much from Rory et al., believing that being prickly is somehow clever and charming. It isn’t. This was a perfectly reasonable and relevant question, along with timing. He has so much goodwill amongst media and fans, but seems to go out of his way, to be like, “I am #1 in the world and I don’t have to answer your questions.” It’s all so contradictory to his big statement, previously, to how he views family, golf for a living, etc. If it wasn’t such a big deal, in life, why does he seemingly make it so awkward and combative?
