Jacob is correct here—we really do earnestly believe AI could kill all humans! I personally think it is >10% within the next decade. I believe Anthropic is trying its best, but we do not yet have a plan to solve alignment for superintelligence and are not clearly on track to.

We congratulate Levent Alpöge and Tristan Buckmaster on their remarkable mathematical work.
We (the researchers and the agents) did not see any of their work through any means until they released it publicly — in particular, no specific user data was accessed in order to solve this problem.
While unlikely, we cannot rule out that de-identified data derived from their usage of our products helped improve our models.
However, our proofs differ significantly and even the precise results proved are different in the Euler case (forced vs. unforced).

Nguyen Wahed is delighted to announce that HEK (House of Electronic Arts) Basel has acquired 'ABO' (2025) by Leander Herzog and 0xfff into its main collection, through the [aside] smart contract implemented by Distributed Gallery (@DistribGallery).
'ABO' is composed of 150 NFTs integrated into the [aside] protocol. The work explores social dynamics through a unique mechanism: each token possesses its own visual identity, can connect to six others maximum, and unlocks only through interaction with another token. Each connection dynamically modifies the visual appearance of the concerned NFT, making visible the evolution of its relationships in the network.
This threshold of six possible connections gives structural value to each link: creating or receiving a connection becomes a rare, engaging act, charged with aesthetic and symbolic consequences. Inspired by Dunbar's number (150), ABO transposes the cognitive limit of human relationships into a digital system, transforming NFT value according to their position in the network.
The work was created as part of [aside], a series of exhibitions presented in partnership with Distributed Gallery who created a bespoke protocol allowing artists to use the smart contract as a medium with custom time-lock features. In ABO, connecting a token to another unlocks both, transforming the time-lock into a social mechanism where engagement becomes the key to access.
Entirely designed in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and SVG, 'ABO' asserts itself as a native web3 social sculpture, where value emerges less from speculation than from interdependence.

as the underlying technology becomes more accessible, the moat shifts elsewhere:
the winners over the next decade won't necessarily have the most unique APIs.
they'll have:
> the best user experience
> the strongest distribution
> an obsession with customer support
> a brand people genuinely trust and want to be associated with
if you're building another generic B2B or B2C fintech with the exact same banking stack as everyone else, ask yourself:
why should a customer choose you over the other 200 companies built on the same APIs?
the answer usually lies between brand, experience & unique distribution.

‘Chelsea Bridge' is part of 'The Shell Record: Breathings of the Moon', a series linking artificial intelligence, lunar cycles and Thames tide data, extending Ridler’s project ‘The Shell Record’ (2021). The series was conceived as part of [aside], a series of exhibitions presented in partnership with Distributed Gallery who created a bespoke protocol allowing artists to use the smart contract as a medium with custom time-lock features.
The work was presented in London as part of Nguyen Wahed’s exhibition, ‘Face Value’, alongside by john gerrard, Addie Wagenknecht, Rachel Maclean, FAR, and Harm van den Dorpel with Jonas Lund, and last year it was included in ZKM's exhibition 'The Story That Has Just Begun. NFTs from the ZKM Collection'. With around 12,000 works, the ZKM | Karlsruhe collection is one of the largest and most significant media art collections in the world.

We have information that Moonshot AI distilled Anthropic’s Fable for the development of its K3 model.
To do this they developed a sophisticated internal platform to conduct large scale distillation against U.S. models, allowing them to quickly switch between multiple methods of access to avoid detection. Moonshot AI has also acquired GB300-equipped servers and has accessed GB300s in Thailand, likely to train its AI models.
The United States strongly supports the free and fair development of AI, including a thriving competitive ecosystem that spans frontier models, specialized systems, open-source frameworks, and open-weight models. Legitimate AI distillation used to create smaller, more efficient models plays a vital role in this open innovation ecosystem. However, large-scale, covert industrial distillation aimed at stealing proprietary U.S. technology and undermining American research is unacceptable.
