Been harping on this all season but... P4/5s have now won 175 straight vs. FCS. In Wk4, P4 was 4-0 winning by an avg of 48 ppg. Pitt out-gained Bucknell by 612 yards! For the year, P4 is 50-0 vs FCS with the avg score 53-8. Only 1 game decided by < 10 (BC over Maine when Eagles had 5 RZ trips = 6 points). Avg yards margin = 358. This is awful football. It turns off fans. It costs money for P4s to pay the cupcakes. The TV networks hate it. It's a pointless injury risk (hello, Jordan Travis!). These games HAVE TO STOP. Make them a preseason game. Play one the second or third week of August as a tune-up for the season. Just gifting head coaches an easy win is utterly stupid and needs to go away.

None that I can think of. And that's the point. Every year both of these guys lose multiple games that they shouldn't. How much is the buyout for these guys and they're not a slam dunk + Norvell & current staff buyouts? Rather give someone like Buster Faulkner an opportunity.

I will die on the hill of putting this on the QB. QB can slide whenever he wants and keep himself out of danger. The closer the QB gets to a defender the more that defender is committing to make a hit. Defender doesn’t know if QB is tryna run him over, make him miss, or slide.
