I*love* to fight for basic dignity and human rights just to learn how many people even on the left see my life and my friends' lives as having less value than the discomfort of putting on an extra piece of fabric when they head out the door. How completely demoralizing to learn the people who should have your back see you as a freak show because you didn't stop reading about a deadly virus when Joe Biden (who we now all know was willing to facilitate genocide) said it was ok.
