Early voting in DuPage was upended by a “glitch” yesterday. Like our primary, it was a complete circus to start the election season. Despite every vote by mail voter getting a text that their ballots had been mailed they were not. The ballots were placed in quarantine in Arizona. What that means and why our ballots are in Arizona is a mystery.

Not because I intend to vote by mail, but because I want to secure my ballot and I want the printed off ballot to review before I vote. As a vote by mail voter, I received the text below. A message advising me that my vote by mail ballot had just been sent. In the after math of yet another complete circus to start this election cycle, namely that early voting was shut down because of technical problems and an unresolved candidate challenge (which is it?), I come to find out that these vote by mail ballots were never mailed but have now been placed in “quarantine”? We call on our Democratic Clerk Kaczmarek to fully and immediately explain: 1. What happened today? 2. Where are the vote by mail ballots? 3. Who is watching over them? 4. When will they really be mailed? 5. After all the voting problems in the primary, how did all this happen again? The Democrats have completely obliterated this once top notch office.
