All animals are equal but some are more equal than others. Only on the wrong side of history if the Dark Side prevails.

Biologically male trans people oppress women by taking away our right to single sex spaces and services. Once you're in there they no longer serve us. Lesbians can’t have public meet ups without the presence of male “lesbians“ because it’s discriminatory. Countless services/

Not cutting five-year-old girls’ clitorises is Islamophobic. - @JessicaTarlov
The doctors at the center of America’s first federal FGM prosecution have opened a clinic together in Detroit where they offer school physicals for children and accept seven different taxpayer funded insurance providers. Dr. Jumana Nargawala and Dr. Fakhruddin Attar were accused of working together to mutilate the genitals of young girls in Michigan. Dr. Nargwala was the one who actually performed the procedures, while Dr. Attar provided her the space in which to operate. The procedure Dr. Nargwala was accused of performing upon nine little girls involved the amputation of the clitoris and inner labia, followed by the removal of the flesh along the inside of the outer labia. Dr. Nargwala then allegedly sewed these little girls shut, leaving a hole the size of a matchstick for urination and menstruation. The indictment accused Dr. Attar of opening his clinic after hours so that Dr. Nargwala could mutilate the victims, and both physicians were accused of telling victims and their families not to discuss the mutilations. The case against both doctors was dismissed in 2018 after the judge ruled that the federal FGM statute was “unconstitutional.” Neither physician was ever charged in state courts, and Michigan’s Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs chose not to pursue disciplinary action. Both doctors have since been allowed to renew their medical licenses. Neither doctor has ever had their medical license revoked or restricted in any way.

I grew up Muslim. Left at 19. On 9/11 I was a kid in a Muslim country. I asked my mom why bin Laden attacked America. Her answer was heartless. I witnessed a sentiment of pride and celebration in the Muslim society. Islam did 9/11 then justified it to kids like me. Watch.

Not on my watch should any violent offenders get any social benefits or financial benefits of any kind whilst under hospital orders. Crime should never pay As it is it costs the tax payer over £300,000/year to keep an offender in a secure hospital. This relates more to Calocane than anyone else. It is hard being an artist right now. With so much risk aversion, so few opportunities and so little support, making interesting new work can feel almost impossible. But I am still making dance, developing ambitious projects and working through Freedom in the Arts to help build a culture where artists can create, take risks and speak freely. If you value my work, please consider becoming a paid subscriber to my Substack or joining the K2CO Club. Your support helps give me the time and independence to keep writing, creating and making these projects happen. I know there are many demands on everyone’s money, so please only support if you can. It would mean a great deal.

Yesterday, I came face to face with a non-African who proceeded to lecture me, an African woman, about the benefits of China in Africa and how much Africans apparently love it. When I pointed out the exploitation, abuse and damage China has caused across parts of the continent, I was told that the benefits outweigh even the rape and destruction. Imagine telling an African woman that the abuse of Africans is an acceptable price for supposed economic benefits. And let’s be clear, China has not developed Africa. Honestly, sometimes I wonder why I bother.

Bridget Phillipson says the conversion practices bill won't target parents. There is nothing on the face of the bill that says parents are protected. She says the test is “serious physical or psychological harm”. In fact the bill sets the test much lower at “serious alarm or distress…which has a substantial adverse effect on their usual day-to-day activities”. This could easily capture parents who don't let their child wear a binder or go out dressed as the opposite sex.
“A society which values freedom must protect everyone’s right to live openly and safely as themselves.” My piece for @IndyVoices on delivering our manifesto commitment to ban conversion practices 👉🏻 independent.co.uk/voices/con…

1/ This article by the Equalities Minister Bridget Phillipson is downright misleading. What is said about the law is unreliable, it confuses civil statutes for criminal ones and it completely ignores the principles of statutory constructions in crime. I explain why here:
Look at Bridget Phillipson's language here: a bill that 'allows people to be their true selves', to 'live openly and safely as themselves', that criminalises someone who tries to 'change who someone is'. The Conversion Practices bill applies in the case of a child who says they're the opposite sex. Think about that. Apply Phillipson's thinking to the parent of a four year-old boy who says 'mummy, I'm really a girl'. Or to the parent of a teenage girl who is screaming 'I'm not your daughter I'm your son, you bigot!' By trying to present the bill as completely reasonable 'common sense measures' Phillipson has only succeeded in exposing its ideological basis. Her language is pure trans activism. archive.ph/BDRJN

Bridget Phillipson's assurance that 'refusing to accept a child's identity' will not be prosecutable under conversion practices legislation is contradicted by the bill itself, which says that 'psychological or emotional pressure' with the intention of changing 'transgender identity' could qualify as a criminal offence. How can Phillipson know how a court will interpret 'refusing to accept a child's identity' given the vague and open-ended definitions in the bill? An op-ed by a politician will be scant consolation when a parent is facing a criminal claim or a protection order that will destroy their relationship with their child. And the question remains: what 'abuse' is the bill designed to tackle that is not already an offence in law? archive.ph/BDRJN

Just because English permits you to place words in this order doesn't guarantee the sentence is meaningful Look: Being a triangle has nothing to do with having 3 sides. It's just another variant on the classic phrase, colourless green pears sleep furiously. Empty.

Ladies and gentlemen, this is an MP in Somalia THIS WEEK defending the mutilation of little girls because it benefits men. I am running out of words for the sheer inhumanity of these men. And the female politician laughing behind him should be ashamed. But that would require a conscience. Around 99% of Somali women and girls have undergone #FGM, yet politicians openly defend this horrific abuse. And what do we do? Keep pouring billions into Somalia while pretending it is building a functioning state. Why are British taxpayers funding institutions whose politicians show such contempt for little girls? Not another penny without accountability. I am sick of this madness.
