When patients told Freud that their lives were hopeless or without purpose, he considered this an impressive display of self-awareness.

Regarding Elizabeth Holmes's (hello, we all know you name search) pity offensive ahead of news she's going to a halfway house after just 5 years and the documentary, some might say it would be terrible to be involved with someone who was as calculating. Not this issues voter.

I mean who doesn't like flattery, intrigue, and protestations of undying love. And gamesmanship. As long as you're on top of the situation, it's great. Unless they're you know, lethal.

She obviously knew this was coming, which I think explains all of the self-pitying jeremiads she's been posting in the last few months.

I'm seeing potential for disruptive innovation with that spork, which hasn't substantiallly changed since 1874.

It took 140 years but #balancetonporc finally caught up to Victor Hugo.

I had totally forgotten about this creep. He's allegedly in prison for criticizing the Syrian "transitional" gov't for straying too far from its Islamic State roots. He did this despite being responsible for three wives and 11 children. God only knows how they're surviving.

There was no increase in crime in Washington state with legalization. Police there are zealous in enforcing the laws as written and shut down legal operations for infractions. So I suspect this is on Nevada law enforcement and I further suspect it's an outcome they wanted to see.
