Mad dogs and English Men...... I don't think I'm mad because I work in this weather, I keep hydrated, I wear sun cream and a hat. I think I'm mad as a husband and Father, because so much of what I earn is spaffed up the wall paying to keep and feed fighting aged men who've broken into our country and pose a massive risk to all of us, particularly women and girls.

Yup, same here pal apart from wife and kids. I work, I pay too much tax. The goalposts keep on getting moved for retirement. I'm guessing many professionals like me are thinking of buggering off.

Yup, busy for the last Month building a gabion retaining wall despite the lovely weather. Started backfilling yesterday. 2 ton of type 1 shovelled, barrow'd and tipped. A cuppa every hour or so and a decent hat was all I needed.

Got one of these backbone of the natio grafters round tomorrow doing a new wall, in this heat too poor fell. He’ll be looked after with shit loads of tea and red bull, his favourites, bacon sarnie early on and lunch if he wants it. Shaded seating area when he needs breaks.
