I’ve been saying the Lord is calling home all his weirdos now. The former addicts, the former whores, the divorcees, the tattooed and pierced, the children of divorce … this isn’t your mother’s Christianity. We are calling forth post-Christian Christians. 🖤

This is true, and even feminists like Simone de Beauvoir have noticed it. Single motherhood is obviously terrible for sons but it's also very bad for daughters.
Feminists are so pissed at single fathers, a group growing rapidly by the way in the U.S., they constantly need to downplay the tremendous parenting those dads do lol. Single fathers are now 21% of single parent households. And they crush them. One recent study looked at heterosexual married men and UNPARTNERED single men who used surrogacy to have children alone. Child outcomes were identical. Nothing can explain this. SES didn’t explain it in the study when accounted for.

In the state of nature, beautiful women remained in that condition for... maybe six to eight years, while being sold off to whichever of their father's friends could bid highest, and rapidly became shriveled hard-bitten hags.

This narrative is provably bullshit. Lindsay Clancy barely even took her meds; she's a lizard-brained psychopath who was trying to lay the groundwork for an insanity plea. Her hospital shifts ought to be checked for suspicious deaths, too - no way the kids were her first victims.
“I wasn’t married to a monster—I was married to someone who got sick.” Patrick said he called more than a dozen therapists but could not find anyone with immediate availability. So they continued with psychiatry. Patrick said Tufts’s appointments felt like, “What are your symptoms? Take these pills.” He described Jollotta’s approach similarly: “It just sounded like she was throwing things at the wall and waiting for us to say yes.” Clinicians at Women & Infants later hesitated to alter Lindsay’s treatment because her prescription history made it difficult to determine whether her symptoms reflected an underlying disorder or adverse drug effects. Lindsay entered treatment anxious, exhausted and unable to sleep. She had no history of psychosis or mania. Psychiatry cycled her through drug after drug. She got worse. That deterioration was interpreted as underlying illness and used to justify more medication. The people closest to Lindsay saw this unfold. On December 5, seven weeks before the killings, Patrick joined an appointment and reported that her anxiety had become “significantly worse since starting the psychiatric medications.” Lindsay told her mother that medication was “destroying her mind” and that she no longer felt like herself. Eventually, nobody could tell where the “illness” ended and the effects of treatment began. But there was no illness to begin with.

Some of Jean-Pierre Dantan's satirical sculptures. Their similarity to 20th century political cartoons and modern meme characters is pretty funny - I wonder just how far back the art of caricature goes.

This Double Eagle coin was worth $20 in 1933 - about a week's wages. Just one of these coins sold for 19 million dollars an auction recently. This proves how much poorer we are now compared to day-laborers during the great depression
This is so stupid. Gold is 10X the price (adjusted for inflation) now than it was in 1955. The median family income would really just be $55,000. The median family income today is $87,000. We're significantly wealthier now than we were in 1955.

If he can get us to Mars, it's totally worth it.
Elon Musk bragged about feeding USAID into the "wood chipper" but now he pretends that whatever happens as a result isn't his fault. If DOGE had saved the federal government billions of dollars, you can be sure he would be taking credit for that. But somehow he's not responsible for the consequences of eliminating these programs? Today at @TheArgumentMag we published a thorough explanation for why we should hold @elonmusk responsible for the deaths of *at best* 700,000 people. theargumentmag.com/p/elon-mu…

Here. I agree with it completely, but feel compelled to add that having a son is ALSO cuckoldry. You spend eighteen years prepping the bull so another guy can fuck women while you watch in the corner. Basically impossible to reproduced without being a cuck, sans maybe cloning
