Don’t be hoodwinked here! This is an over step by the state. Local school districts should be making their own policies and decisions NOT the state. Dig into how much $$$ this bill made the vendors and lobbyists. Follow the money. It’s interesting Abbott won’t address getting rid of all the technology in the schools 🤔 BigTech makes Big Bucks 🤑 for the evil, greedy politicians, bureaucrats, special interests, and lobbyists.

Students have also been the ones reporting school shootings and bullying issues. ISDs are now are telling parents to send any messages through the office. Since when does a parent need to share personal information with a gvmt employee to get to their child?!!

This is a horrible bill that removes parental rights in Texas. For someone who is not even a parent to be the bill author is incredibly irresponsible. You have just removed the ability for students to record the bad behavior of admin and teachers, which has proven powerful!

Children died in the recent flooding because they didn’t have phones! Do you know this @FairlyForTexas ? The first thing camps do is take away cell phones. That’s the reason these babies didn’t evacuate. Because they didn’t know! They relied upon adults who slept thru alarms.
