Last week, I visited Salisbury’s City Park Pedestrian Bridge with Mayor Randy Taylor and city officials to discuss the city’s infrastructure needs. I secured $9.7 million in the FY27 Transportation, Housing and Urban Development funding bill for drainage improvements, Johnson Pond Dam safety repairs, and upgrades to police, fire training, and public works facilities. When I was a kid, my best friend and I sat through a 12-1 Brewers loss and made a pact: if the Brewers ever made the World Series in our lifetime, we were going. No matter what.
