Today, 21 Stand With Crypto Chapter Presidents, Founders, and Advocates from Michigan, Georgia, North Dakota, South Dakota, Oklahoma, Texas, Nevada, Arizona, Virginia, and California are in Washington, meeting with Senate offices ahead of the CLARITY Act cloture vote. It is time to move forward with the CLARITY Act.

Advocacy has always been a part of my role as a leader. 💪 Today, I am supporting fellow executives and founders with The CLARITY Act: 1. Innovation = economic opportunity = jobs. We have already lost innovation and capital in this space to other countries — Singapore, Thailand, India, UAE, Kenya, France, Argentina. I personally know this from my own visits or my colleagues there. While some things are country-specific, global brands and teams can still be based in the US, if they are incentivized to stay. ♾️ 2. Digital Asset builders should be free to lead and support this technology in the US. If the US is truly a global financial leader, then we should be leading the way and setting standards for the digital asset transformation as well. ⛓️‍💥 3. Consumers also need protections, because if people don’t trust the tech they won’t use it. The industry (especially in the US) needs support to onboard users — whether you are a startup or an institution. 🛡️ In true Detroit style, let’s “keep it moving”!⚡️ Thank you for your attention to this matter. 😃 @standwithcrypto @DetBlockchain @SenatorSlotkin

This is likely our last chance to get real legislation for digital assets on the books before 2030. If we fail to pass the Clarity Act, we are ensuring another country will write the rules for digital assets and we spend the next decade catching up.
