A statement from Fishers Mayor Scott Fadness on the federal charges filed in the Hailey Buzbee case: "Today's indictment brings us one step closer to justice for Hailey Buzbee's death. Without the dedication and integrity of the critical work of the Fishers Police Department, today's indictment would not be possible. We will continue to stand in support of Hailey's family to see that justice is served."

🚧 Olio Road & Southeastern Parkway Roundabout: By the end of this week, the fifth leg of the Olio Road and Southeastern Parkway roundabout will permanently close to traffic as work progresses on the new roundabout configuration. Drivers should know: - Olio Road is reduced to one lane in each direction from the roundabout to just south of 136th Street. - 136th Street west of Olio Road is also closed for approximately three weeks, with traffic detoured using 134th Street. - Access from I-69 to IU Health Fishers remains open via the bypass lane, and emergency access will be maintained throughout construction. Phase 2 remains on track to begin in mid-October. Plan ahead and find the latest traffic impacts and detour information at FishersIN.gov/Olio.

Last night, City Council helped celebrate Fishers resident Eunice Desjardins and her incredible 105th birthday! 🎈🎂 Eunice received nearly 200 birthday cards from neighbors in Fishers and beyond, along with special recognitions from Mayor @ScottFadness, state leaders, including the Distinguished Hoosier Award from @GovBraun. As State Sen. Scott Baldwin shared during the celebration, “Eunice has made her 105 years count.” Happy 105th birthday, Eunice! 🎉

A major milestone at The Union at @FishersDistrict: Indiana’s first @ACHotels by Marriott has reached the topping out stage, marking completion of the building’s structural frame and keeping the project on track for an early 2027 opening. The 135-room hotel will also include 15,500 square feet of retail space, an AC Lounge, AC Kitchen, fitness center and flexible meeting space.
