New York City public schools are 14% white (vs 30% total population). The majority of white kids in NYC attend private school. Look at that red bar.
New York’s white parents are some of the smartest, most high agency people in the world. The fact that they take it for granted that their city’s schools are not for them is an indictment of our whole system.
The main reason people with kids give for leaving the NYC public school system is they want a more rigorous education for their children. Safety of the schools is also an issue.
In fact, concerns about school quality (50%) beat housing cost concerns (36%) among families that left NYC, according to a DOE report.

America does not need more visas for people from India. Perhaps no form of legal immigration has so displaced American workers as those from India. Enough already. We’re full. Let’s finally put our own people first.

It's reported in the Times that one school in Berkshire was 49% white British a decade ago and now is 13%.
Nationally it has fallen in grammar schools from 66% to 44% in a decade.
Other schools have fallen from 69% to 24%, 52% to 7%, 78% to 33%.
This is staggering. This is unacceptable.
Immigration has totally transformed Britain, and we're told to accept it without question.
No more.
We are allowed to be upset about this, we are allowed to democratically resist it.
