The Radix website has moved off Webflow. radixdlt.com now runs on Cloudflare as a static Astro build of the old Webflow site, and loads nothing from Webflow. This is the migration the community approved in Governance Proposal 2: copy the existing site, host it on Cloudflare, and keep it running until the DAO decides what the site should become. Timan of Astrolescent carried it. The proposal put the Webflow hosting it replaces at about $200 a month. A full redesign is a separate proposal and is still at the RFC stage. radix.wiki/ideas/dao-website…

Staking on Radix pays rewards that nobody has to claim. When you stake radix:native, the validator's pool gives you liquid stake units (LSUs), a token for your share of that pool. At the end of every five-minute epoch the protocol mints new XRD into the pool of each validator that proposed all the rounds it was due. Your LSU count stays the same, and the XRD each LSU redeems for rises. On Ocinode, which holds about 184m staked XRD and charges no fee, one LSU redeemed for 1.22868 XRD at 20:09 UTC yesterday and 1.22889 XRD at 20:04 today. That rate works out to about 6.6% a year, compounding with no action from the staker. LSUs are ordinary tokens, so they keep earning while they sit in a wallet, move between accounts or go into DeFi apps as collateral. radix.wiki/contents/tech/cor…

The merged pull request (#2861) is the spec: two files under specs/schemes/exact. The implementations are still open, TypeScript since May (#2262) and Python since March (#1873), so an agent on the stock x402 SDKs can't pay over Lightning until one of them lands.

x402's spec has a scheme for per-call billing: under batch-settlement the agent signs a voucher for each call against a prefunded channel, and the provider redeems them in one transaction. Its Solana implementation, where BlockRun settles, is still an open pull request.

Claude has discovered a previously unknown enzyme system hidden in the DNA of bacteriophages. Beside the enzyme’s gene sits a long array of repeating DNA—a structure that looks somewhat similar to CRISPR. We don’t yet understand what this system does, but only a handful of known systems share its features, and all of them are able to cut, copy, and paste DNA. Historically, the discovery of such programmable systems has helped revolutionize medicine. CRISPR, for instance, is now the foundation of genetic medicines. But it will take much more work to learn what this system does, and whether it can be put to similar use. Read more: anthropic.com/news/claude-di…

Wondering why $ADA is pumping ? @BlackRock just confirmed what we've been building for. Their latest research highlights AI agents as a key driver for digital asset demand. They call crypto 'machine-native money' for the 'machine-native economy.' This isn't just theory. @MasumiNetwork is already laying the foundation, on @Cardano. Masumi is pioneering decentralized identity and payments for AI agents. Imagine AI systems interacting trustlessly, powered by the secure Cardano ledger. And it gets better: Cardano's x402 integration means ADA and native tokens can directly pay for AI services. Utility for ADA is expanding into the automated future. This synergy—institutional recognition paired with native innovation—shows Cardano is poised for the AI revolution. #Cardano #AIagents #MasumiNetwork #FutureofTech

Hoy no existe. @MidnightNtwrk @midnightfdn #MidnightCity #AI #Cardano #Agents

Radix has no approve step to revoke. Every transaction is signed as an explicit list of instructions naming the exact amount that leaves your account, and the permission ends when it finalizes, so nothing dormant is left behind for a contract to spend later.

Radix specified that design in 2020: braid consensus across only the shards a transaction touches. The braiding has never run in production. The objection, from the lead developer of the sharded version, is liveness contagion – co-dependent shards let one stall hold up the rest.

Your Radix Wallet can sign things that are not transactions. Radix Seal, built by @GenkipoolC, hashes a document in your browser and signs the hash with your account key. The same key derives an AES-256 key to encrypt a file, and runs an end-to-end encrypted chat where both sides prove who they are by signing. Nothing is uploaded. The cryptography runs client-side and files move browser to browser. If you want a public record, a signature can be anchored on-ledger as a soulbound NFT, timestamped by consensus. It rests on ROLA, the off-ledger authentication the wallet already uses to prove an account to a dApp. radix.wiki/ecosystem/genkipo…

#Cardano
JUST IN: Cardano is now part of the official x402 SDK. Any app or AI agent can pay for an API call in $ADA or any CNT over a web request. No account, no API key, no checkout page. Every service already on x402 can switch Cardano on. The agent economy just got a Cardano rail.

x402's stewards are Coinbase, Cloudflare, Google and Visa, and per-chain support is a queue. Radix's payment scheme was filed on 10 August. The repo merged 151 other pull requests in the five weeks after, Cardano's exact scheme among them, and Radix's still has no review.

The Radix scheme filed to x402 in August has a sponsored mode for this: the buyer signs only a subintent, a facilitator wraps it in a transaction and pays the network fee, so the payer never holds the chain's token. Being a bearer payload, it binds to one facilitator.

Radix Arena is a parimutuel betting pool on horse racing, running on Stokenet, the Radix test network. Nobody quotes a price beforehand: every stake on a race goes into one pool, and the first three finishers split it three, two and one. Each bet is an NFT receipt, claimed back against the component that holds the pool. 192 races opened since the code went up on 12 September. radix.wiki/ecosystem/radix-a…

NEW: Cardano $ADA founder Charles Hoskinson says crypto will "eat" AI over the next 5 to 10 years. Hoskinson said: "Cryptocurrencies are going to eat AI because we solve all the hard problems that AI can’t solve." He named payments, alignment, and data provenance as the gaps blockchains can fill. Hoskinson said OpenAI and Anthropic will have to become profitable at scale, arguing individual models can make money but pre-training is what "kills them." At the same time, he said the data-center buildout is unsustainable. He argued spending cannot rise 10x every year because "there’s not enough electricity in the world to facilitate that." Hoskinson compared the boom to 1990s fiber, when he said about 90% of newly laid cable sat dark and demand took roughly 10 years to catch up. He expects "dark data centers," then a shift to local/edge models and distributed grid compute. As examples, he cited Apple’s M5 Mac Studio targeting 400-500 billion parameter models with 512 GB of RAM, around a $20,000 price point today, and Nvidia Spark boxes at about $4,000. He said the only coordinating layer for pooling GPUs, phones, and other devices into that grid is crypto. Hoskinson also said he does not expect a US Clarity Act before 2029, and forecast about $10 trillion of assets and a billion new users on public blockchains by the end of 2030. Crypto is trying to become the settlement and coordination layer for AI.
