FedNow is testing the U.S. domestic leg of cross-border instant payments. Banks and credit unions will be able to handle the onshore piece in real time while the international side still runs through correspondent banking.
This is the rail @MetallicusTDBN already sits on.
They are certified on FedNow for send, receive, liquidity management, and Request for Payment. That is how credit unions move dollars instantly between member accounts and @webauthwallet wallets without waiting on ACH. Fast settlement is the whole point. International testing is the next layer they need if those same institutions want to serve members and businesses that actually move money across borders.
RTP is on a similar path. Their spokesperson said: “We expect to see payments really starting in Q1 2027.”

John Underland of daland credit union is talking about the reality of what’s been built and deployed technology that’s already running in production for clients right now.
He talks about it being protected. He’s also talked about having a significant amount of his Bitcoin being serviced by St. Cloud Credit Union and protected.
Here’s the part that really gets me:
None of this happens without @MetallicusTDBN technology.
