The mass integration of blockchain networks is happening right in front of us
SoFi ($60 billion in assets, 15.8 million customers) has begun settling debit and credit card transactions on Mastercard rail using SoFiUSD
They expect to process $25 billion in annualized on-chain volume
But, that's not the real story...
SoFi is moving its ENTIRE card program on-chain
Couple that tidbit with Visa's Money Travels 2026 report, which found that 64% of respondents trust a payment provider more than a technology
The banks and financial institutions are moving their users onto our blockchains
Soon, everyday non-technical users will be paying for goods and services on-chain and will have zero idea they're doing so
Just like they don't know how:
> SMS moves information between computers and cell towers when sending a text
> SMTP functions when sending an email
> DNS finds an IP address when going to a website
The writing is on the wall and it says: adoption is happening at scale

We are bootstrapping blockchain networks as a peaceful revolution in interconnectivity
Fighting (and replacing) corporate networks was never going to be easy, especially after the amount of network effects they've been able to accumulate over the past 20 years
Being a HODLer might not feel like it, but you're voting with your second most valuable asset: capital (the first being time)
It took 40+ years to go from DARPA to Internet in every house, and now the Internet is ubiquitous
We're only 18 years into this blockchain experiment (less if you include the lifespan of other prominent blockchains today)
For the first time in technology's history, blockchain engrains an economic layer into the tech stack
This has never been done before
Naturally it will take a little bit of time for the dust to settle and for the world to calibrate the true strength of a global computer that prioritizes trustlessness and open access
The good news is you're here
The bad news is you're early
HODL is a superpower of those with beliefes strongly held

After speaking with @Truthcoin today, that was my biggest (and saddest) takeaway
Bitcoin has been ossified into suffocation; there is no room for innovation when social dogma deems it sacrilege
Many looking from the outside in want to yell, “transaction fees become even more important with each halving”
Concerned, and “staked” parties (ie HODLers), are not welcome to be heard
Even the most faithful have been forced to hard fork and innovate outside of one of the most beautiful pieces of technology our generation has ever seen
But those who keep fighting to bring new users and uses to Bitcoin are armed with a vision that Bitcoin core can learn to dream big once again
Let’s see what eCash can do
Let’s see if it can spark a renaissance

Trust no one. Verify everything.
I want to share what happened to me, because I'm still in shock and I want to prevent from happening to others.
Two weeks ago, an old friend reached out to catch up through @telegram I said yes. I've been job hunting, I miss my professional friends, and honestly, hearing from someone I hadn't talked to in a while felt good. We got on a video call.
My mic glitched partway through, so I installed the update it asked for. I didn't think twice. It was my friend's face. My friend's voice. The conversation was normal. Nothing about it felt wrong.
That update was malware. I was temporarily trading on a hot wallet @MetaMask . (I know, idiot move). While we talked, it was quietly draining everything I owned.
1.7 BTC. 10 ETH. Around $180,000. Gone before I even knew to be afraid.
That money wasn't just numbers to me. It was five years of discipline, of saying no to things so I could say yes to my future. It was the down payment on a house. It was the freedom to retire early, or at least feel some sense of security. I used to tell people I was financially independent. I was proud of that. It was proof I could take care of myself.
Now I open my wallet and see zero, and I feel something I've never let myself feel before: helpless. Defeated. Destitute.
I'm unemployed right now too, actively interviewing, trying to hold it together while I process losing my savings and rebuild a career at the same time. Some days I feel stupid for trusting someone I've known for years. Most days I just feel numb, replaying what happened over and over.
I'm sharing this publicly for another reason too. This wasn't a random phishing email or an obvious scam. It was a deepfake, real-time, on a video call, with a face and voice I'd known for years. If it can happen to me, it can happen to anyone, and I don't want the embarrassment of admitting that to stop me from warning other people. If a "friend" ever asks you to install something mid-call, especially anything framed as fixing audio or video, stop and verify through a separate channel first, a text, a call to a number you already had, another social media platform, anything outside that same conversation. Don't do it in the moment, no matter how real it looks or sounds.
Now, here’s the hard part for me. I’m not asking because I think I'm owed anything. I'm asking because I don't know what else to do, and because I know there are people out there who understand how fast something like this can happen to anyone, no matter how careful you think you are.
