Circle and Tether Freeze $318,000 Linked to Bitget Hack According to CoinDesk, Circle and Tether blacklisted an address labeled "Bitget Exploiter 8," freezing 218,023 USDT and 99,990 USDC, worth approximately $318,000 combined. Circle took action at 05:00 UTC on September 25, and MistTrack later confirmed that Tether had also blacklisted the address. The frozen funds represent only a small fraction of the stolen assets. MistTrack data shows that other attacker-linked addresses still hold more than 63,000 ETH, which stablecoin issuers cannot freeze.

But why are you delisting coins in the midst of this hack when nobody can withdraw? This is causing price dislocation events on Bitget Please take a look at this @GracyBitget

How can you inconvenience your users for Days. This is obviously incompetence from you. Im so pissed off right now.. you are making more people lose faith in you.. Restricting people for days is wild, you’re not even apologetic about it. Wtf. What has p2p got to do with anything

You are going down. Period. You will see bank run as soon as you open withdrawal. Next stop is Jail. You deserve it. You scammed millions in supporting tokens like $Lab, $Rave, $Ake. Let the Karma do the job and let us grab some popcorns now like you used to eat when scamming

Users should not have to bear the consequences of a security incident they did not cause. Please reconsider the P2p restriction and provide users with a practical way to access their funds.

Every frozen address is another door closing on the attackers. Now the focus should be on tracing, freezing, and recovering the funds. The wider crypto security community can make a real difference here.

For more than 24 hours now, p2p has not be working, people needs funds for different reasons and some for emergency purposes, if what you truly have in your fund protection wallet is enough to cover the losses why not allow p2p even if with a limit to a particular amount? Why?

Hi Gracy, once the Bitget hacking issue is completely resolved and behind us, we’ll make a trip to Singapore to sort out the last remaining issue: being single. That’s it. ^^

When Bitget’s funds are at risk, every address matters. When a customer reports 33,460 USDC lost to fraud, his addresses matter too. @GracyBitget, after my repeated, documented alerts, what tracing and preservation steps has Bitget taken in my case?

critics arises as if this is violating the "permisionless" philosophy in crypto? I think the industry should find a clear line between being strict and flexible enought at a time

Every frozen address is one step closer to getting funds back. Good to see the industry moving together on this 🤝

Splitting the bounty between freezing and full recovery makes a lot of sense—time is usually lost right at that initial freeze stage.

Offering 5% for freezes and recovery is smart. Most of the stolen funds are in ETH which nobody can freeze, so bounty hunters and chain analysts are the best shot left.

Why is P2P being affected by an issue specifically involving on chain withdrawals? I understand the need for security, but restricting P2P is also preventing legitimate users from accessing their own funds. P2P transactions remain within Bitget’s ecosystem and can be monitored.

$DOG Army 🤝 @bitget I’ve been independently tracing funds connected to the Bitget incident and contributing to the recovery effort. So far: → 215 BTC candidates identified & preserved → 121 addresses under active monitoring → 85 report ready BTC leads → 1 lead already successfully submitted to @bitget → Tracing continues across BTC + multiple other chains The remaining reports are preserved and queued while Bitget’s submission system is rate limiting further reports $DOG Army helps, No matter what @GracyBitget @Bitget @BitgetSupport $DOG Army
