To whomever does watch this video – I hope you view this as a message for change that benefits everyone. We need a government that truly prioritizes science and medicine in the US. This benefits everyone, regardless of who you are or where you are.

Stuff like this has made me reconsider continuing research in the US. I can only imagine what scientists that needed their grants renewed or approved this cycle are thinking and feeling. The NIH is supposed to be one of the premier institutions in the world. Now it’s sputtering…

So sad to hear another school shooting happened today. Very surreal when school shootings happen in your home town. Absolutely tragic.
